It's no secret that 18yr old BLUE-K has now successfully concluded her final year of high school 🎉 much like her BLUE FAM fan base, who will be eager to celebrate this milestone with her.

"L2K", The new mixtape captures BLUE's rollercoaster past 5 years juggling her schooling career ... all while maintaining a budding music career, doing shows, brand work & dropping fire collaborations for fans to enjoy.

As a multi-disciplined rapper singer-songwriter and record producer, BLUE felt that the mixtape would be the perfect chance to explore some of her favourite sounds besides Hip Hop to showcase her musical range - with inspirations from Afro pop, Trap Soul and even a bit of Amapiano - fans can attest to BLUE's string of viral bedroom freestyles/covers proving her versatile approach to music as an artist.

Sonically the Godfather of Cape Town's Xhosa Wave scene, MsaiBeats delivered just on that brief - the city is really up for a mixtape that sounds like no other. It's a BLUEPRINT really (*cover-art inspo)

BLUE has always expressed her deep appreciation for Cape Town's producer talents and after locking-in an all nighter with prolific superproducer Msai, she thought; "What cool way to shine a spotlight on this amazing talent than with a joint tape?"

The BLUE FAM can look forward to exciting new features including Lolli Native, Bravo Le Roux & Lurah who she's met along her musical journey.

Embracing isiXhosa, the project is youthful yet reflective and still full of that fiery feline finesse we all know and love BLUE KITTY for.
