We took on the virtual Fairbury Speedway last night with Powderkeg Racing team mate Stephen Steinsdoerfer during the Slick Sliders RANCH league round 4. Was an interesting race for sure as the track definitely had some character in it. Solid night for round two of the Slick Sliders RANCH league. Not enough cars for a b main so we made it straight in to the show. Definitely worth a watch as it was a wild race!

Definitely not the night we were looking for in the season opener of the Slick Sliders RANCH ump modified series. The 7B Apaul20 Gaming, powderkeg Racing machine would just barely make it in time for the heats and would tag the field. Started 11th and avoided the chaos to finish 7th. That put us in one of the 4 LCQ races. Started 7th in the B Main and made it all of about a lap and a half before getting driven through ending the night.

As for the 33S machine driven by Stephen Steinsdoerfer , he would qualify mid pack and start 8th in his heat. Made it up to 6th in a clean quick race. Again racing a LCQ. Started 4th in the B Main and was up to third in a transfer spot, when a racing incident occured putting out the yellow. Race control deemed the caution his fault(video in comments tab, you make the call) and sent him to the rear. After avoiding a couple wreck and running smooth laps, he was able to make a charge to 5th and was right on the heels of 3rd & 4th, but unfortunately ran out of laps.

So unfortunately neither car was able to put it in the show tonight but that's okay because both cars will be back July 3rd for the next series race with more notes to work from!

*Side note, unfortunately there will not be a video of this race as we were crunched on time to make it home before the start of the even and did not have enough time to get a stream or recording set up.

Alright guys, been a minute since we posted an update about the happenings on the channel. We are about halfway through season 8 for Midwest f1 on Thursday nights. Its been a rough transition to division 4, out of the races we've ran, we've only finished 1 or 2 of them, and are currently sitting in the bottom 3 points standings. Hopefully we can begin to start crawling out of the hole we've dug, so keep your eyes out as we go live tonight and go at it with the Midwest boys!
