movement against the brutalities of Abiy’s regime has continued for the second week. The Oromo people from east to west, from north and central to the south have shown to the world their unity and solidarity to save Oromia under the motto of OromooHaaBaraarru ( ). Students and residents across Oromia Regional State are denouncing the gruesome terror attacks by Abiy’s federal and allied Fanno Amhara forces on Oromo communities in Oromia. Abiy’s drone strikes have indiscriminately killed hundreds of innocent civilians in the last month alone. Demonstrations are also taking place in universities in other regional states calling for the right to peaceful life in Oromia. Abiy’s allied forces, the Fanno Amhara militia, which were invited to invade Oromia, committed mass atrocities including beheadings, slaughtering, burning people alive, looting, and causing hundreds of thousands of evictions in western Oromia, Wallagga zones. Now, the Oromo people fight to secure the minimum right, that is the right to live in their territory, Oromia. In a nutshell, is a concept to represent saving Oromo lives, saving Oromo territory, saving Oromo unity, saving Oromo economy, saving Oromo institutions such as Gadaa, saving Oromia as a free and democratic state, saving Oromo culture and language, and above all saving the next Oromo generation. is a movement, not a partisan organization that is affiliated with any political party. It calls for the active participation of all Oromos of all background without discrimination in terms of region and religion. United we stand divided we fall.
