It’s the last few minutes of The Month of the Military Child!
So cheers to YOU, The Military Child! You experienced more change in your first decade than most adults ever do. You’ve said innumerable goodbyes, been thrust into far too many unasked-for new situations, and supported your family in ways most children are never asked to.
We are so incredibly grateful ❤️
I love this picture of my daughter (left), saying goodbye to one of her favorite people in Savannah. At the time it really hurt my heart because I honestly wasn’t sure if we’d see them again; but lo and behold, five years later I got a phone call from this sweet friend’s mom asking how I felt about Fort Polk 😂. Reunion pic in comments!
