THE ILLEGAL IMPEACHMENT OF THE LEADER OF WARRI SOUTH-WEST LEGISLATIVE ARM RESOLVED.

Just less than a week ago, a conspiracy against the leader/speaker was instigated in the Legislative Arm of Warri South-West Local Government Area.

The leadership crisis rocking the Legislative Arm of Warri South-West Local Government Council in Delta state, has taken a new twist as the Clerk of the House, Maureen, O. Oweh, who had transmitted a letter to the Office of the Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, on Thursday July 21, 2022, informing him of the purported impeachment of Rt. Hon.Emiko Odin- Etuwewe as Leader of the House, wrote a contrary letter dated July 22, 2022, to the Office of the Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, declaring the impeachment notice of Rt. Hon. Emiko Odin- Etuwewe, earlier sent to Office of the Chairman as null and void, due to “falsification of signatures of three councilors”.

Clerk of the House, Maureen, O. Oweh, in the memo dated July 22 and sighted by Fresh Angle International, today, Wednesday July 27, recanted her earlier impeachment notice to the Office of the Chairman, after acknowledging: “The receipt of protest letters written by three Councilors, namely, Hon. Stanley Ama Ukasanren, Hon Mike Ukulor and Hon. Jonathan Saware, wherein they indicated that their signatures were falsified on the impeachment letter of the Leader, Hon. Emiko Odin Etuwewe on the 18 of July 2022”.

In the July 22 memo titled ‘Falsification of three (3) Councilors’, Oweh, stated inter-alia: “I am further directed to inform you (Office of the Chairman) that Hon. Stanley Ama Ukusanren and Mike Ukulor true names and signatures can be found in the House Rules/Standing Order enacted by the House in the year 2021 at the inception of the 6th Assembly. While Hon. Jonathan Saware's true signature is on the Finance and Appropriation report presented in 2021 and 2022 Budget passage as a member of the Committee.

“Our preliminary investigations show the claims to be factual, therefore, the earlier impeachment notice sent to your office is null and void.

“In the foregoing, my letter with reference no. WSW.355/13/47, is hereby retrieved and of no effect, due to the illegality and uncertainties involved in it”.

This Newspaper understands that in the July 22 memo addressed to the Office of the Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, Maureen, O Oweh, attached copies of the “IMPERSONATION OF SIGNATURE” letters written to Office of the Clerk by; Hon. Stanley Ama Ukasanren, Hon Mike Ukulor as well as Hon. Jonathan Saware and copied the Head of Personnel Management, HPM of Warri South-West Local Government Council, Treasurer to the Local Government, TLG, DPO of Nigerian Police, Ogbe-Ijoh and the DSS.

Earlier today, Hon Taiye Tuoyo received a news from the Deputy leader of the legislative council (Hon Stanley governor) that his community,Egbemine/Oropa Community purpolar known as Fenegbene Ogbe-Ijoh Warri kingdom was on the 1st of December hit with Fire breakout making more than 60 persons homeless.

The Chairman of warri south west (Hon Taiye Tuoyo) has send his condolence message to all those affected, and also promise them that he will do something about it, and he has also inform the DESOPADEC chairman and also the state government...

He assure the people of EGBEMINE/OROPA COMMUNITY, that something will be done in no distance time,that they should remain calm..

He also use this medium to inform everyone to be security conscious and be vigilant..

HON. TAIYE TUOYO DUKE BEGINS THE REVITALIZATION OF THE WARRI SOUTH WEST SECRETARIAT IN OGBE-IJOH

It was earlier rumoured that the Chairman of the Warri South West Local Government Council, Hon. Taiye Tuoyo Duke has plans to embark on so many projects in the local government and now it is confirmed that the visionary Council Chairman has started the revitalization of the Local Government Secretariat as he builds new fence around the compound of a very large land mass and hopes to renew the physical aesthetics of the building.

It was also communicated to the media that he has also started the construction of health facilities across the Local government.

DELTA STATE @ 30: TAIYE TUOYO SALUTES DELTANS

As Delta State marks the 30th anniversary of its creation on August 27, the Warri south west chairman, has felicitated with deltans.

Taiye Tuoyo in a good will message while congratulating Deltans, appreciated the efforts and contributions of successive administrations in the state.

He lauded Governor Okowa's administration for impressive developmental strides in the areas of road construction, human capital development and job creation, noting that the Governor had upped the ante with his enormous achievements.

VOTERS SENSITIZATION:

OFFICE OF THE WARRI SOUTH WEST LGA CHAIRMAN (HON TAIYE TUOYO)

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commence the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) from Monday 28th of June, 2021 across the nation. Therefore, those under the following category should endeavor to visit the INEC centers close to them;

1. Non registered citizens who are now 18 and above.

2. Any registered Voter who has issues with accreditation during the last exercise.

3. Any Voters who wants to transfer his PVC to another location.

4. Any registered Voter whose PVC is damaged

5. Any registered Voter who wants to correct their names wrongly spelled.

6. That CVR exercise will close in the 3rd quarter of the next year 2022.

The Office Chairman Warri South West LGA, encourages citizens of Warri South West LGA to seize this opportunity to ensure that their voting rights which is the Voters Card are properly registered and collected so that, their rights to choose a credible Leader during the electioneering period is not truncated.

Johnbull Edema name was among the 15 commissioner designate names Governor Okowa sent to the Delta State House of Assembly for confirmation, Thursday.
