Great news for Green Wing fans! There is a potential comeback on the cards.
The popular hospital-based series might be on its way back, 17 years after the show ended. The surreal, hilarious comedy first landed on screens back in 2004 and proved to be a big hit with viewers across its two series before coming to an end in 2007. It followed the lives and loves of medical staff at East Hampton Hospital and starred the likes of Stephen Mangan, Oscar-winner Olivia Colman, and Friday Night Dinner legend Tamsin Greig.
The show’s creator and writer, Vicky Pile, has shared some surprising news. In a new interview with Radio Times, she mentioned that the team behind Green Wing are in contact about possibly reuniting. Pile said, “We are debating [a revival]. I’m about to email everybody and see how they feel about it. So, yeah, we’re contemplating what we could do.” She added that if it did come back, it would likely be with Channel 4.

Ricky Gervais could have been Michael Scott in The US Office. Wonder how it would have looked?
He was offered the role but turned it down, saying, "What would be the point?" The list of potential Michaels included Bob Odenkirk, Paul Giamatti, and Philip Seymour Hoffman, before Steve Carrell made the role his own.

Spent is a sitcom that viewers believe is going under the radar, starring Michelle de Swarte and Peep Show's Matt King. Viewers are urging others to binge-watch "the best new comedy in years" on the BBC, which is largely going unnoticed.
Written by and starring Michelle de Swarte, Spent follows former catwalk model Mia, whose career implodes, forcing her to move back to Brixton after being declared bankrupt. Too proud to tell her family and friends, Mia takes odd jobs and sleeps on sofas while pretending her glamorous life is still intact.
The six-episode comedy also features Peep Show's Matt King (aka Super Hans), Back To Life’s Juliet Cowan, and Am I Being Unreasonable? star Amanda Wilkin. Fans are calling Spent a resounding success and highly recommend it.
Lisa Holdsworth couldn't get enough of Spent, saying, "If you’re looking for your next binge watch, you could do a lot worse than Spent. Funny, heartbreaking, and has an amazingly magnetic central character."
John Chadfield agreed, "Spent on BBC is the best new comedy in years. Six episodes of original gold, hope it comes back for another season."
Author and writer Caitlin Moran added, "There hasn’t been a bigger entrance onto TV for a writer/performer since Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Fleabag. Michelle de Swarte is both a powerhouse and a hoot in Spent. HUGE recommend."
Spent is loosely based on Michelle’s fashion industry career, which crashed down after a fall on stage during a Gucci fashion show. Michelle also found herself homeless, sofa surfing in LA, and turned her experiences into a stand-up routine, leading to her own show, which is a must-watch.
