The lack of self care will eventually cause pain!!

Y’all, i was dragging myself to go get my nails done because, with what time?! 🥴 but it got to the point where my nails were way longer than i usually let them grow. They were cute, but too long for my line of work. So today as I’m cleaning, my nail got jammed and broke! Ladies, y’all understand my pain! It hurt like all hell! I could barely use that hand for the rest of my shift. So of course I had no choice but to go get them done today.

❗️As they fixed the nail, it caused pain! I had put myself in a position where I was feeling pain that could’ve been prevented.

❗️But once they were finished, there was minimal pain and I can do my job effectively again.

Here me, the fact that you keep putting off things that are for your good isn’t just a sign of self-inflicted pain, it’s also a sign that your boundaries aren’t as healthy as they could be.

This was a simple fix for me, but I didn’t want to take the time to see about Ciera.

So here’s your word: GO TAKE CARE OF YOU! The world will not fall apart because you stepped away for a minute. Take the cape off and go make sure you’re good before you continue to try to save the world and cause unnecessary pain for yourself. 🫶🏽

Today we got to witness these one of kind Insulated Concrete Form homes get filled with cement. Habitat for humanity are building these historical energy and cost efficient homes in Steelton that will one day be a blessing to first time homeowners! They are the first homes of its kind in Pennsylvania! We also has the opportunity to write well wishes on the walls of the future families.

Steelton is growing!! I’m just glad to be a small part of this great change!

This story is infuriating, frustrating and sad. We tell young moms to go get a job and make money but don’t offer support, and if they don’t work and get assistance, they’re a statistic with every negative connotation society Throws on them. It’s a lose lose situation. 😪

A young mother in Ohio was arrested and is facing charges of child endangerment after police said she left her children in a motel room while she worked at a local pizza shop.
