This week, we’re featuring our first touring sound tech, John Edwards! This is a special one for me for two reasons: firstly, I’ve been in the AV industry for the better part of a decade; and secondly, John and I have known each other for a while, both of us being from Savannah. Over the past few years, John has stacked up quite a resume working with bands such as Undeath, Vatican, Pain of Truth, Fleshwater, and his main client Terror.

Tune in Thursday to hear more in this weeks episode with the man himself, John Edwards!

Today we’re listening to CRIME SCENE PHOTOS, the debut EP from GIGAN ANIMAL THUGS. This EP is pretty ridiculous. Lots of death metal riffs, blast beats, and some of the heaviest slam breakdowns I’ve heard this year. I had the pleasure of playing two shows with these guys earlier this month and it blew my mind.

Tune in Thursday to hear more in this week’s episode with drummer Ryan!

Although he’s been involved with a number of sites(Lambgoat, HardTimes.ca), Mike with Shed My Skin has a wealth of Hardcore history from Montreal and the Upstate New York area. Check out the YoTube Channel to find tons of interviews and live sets from bands like Section 8, Downpressor, even Kublai Khan TX. There’s even a legendary interview with Peter Steele floating around.

Tune in Thursday to hear more in this week’s episode with Montreal Hardcore archivist and journalist MIKERULE!
