Apart from guarding the border along LAC, the Gajraj Corps contributes immensely in maintaining peace and tranquility in this region of the country. The Gajraj Corps of Indian Army undertakes numerous civic-action programmes to assist in development activities in the region. We are comm

itted towards providing objective facts and statistics of our activities and will endeavor to highlight the truth behind the evil facade of adversaries. We would bring to fore the contribution of Indian Army in upliftment of local population by contribution towards socio-economic development through its all encompassing Sadhbhavna, Samaritan and other people friendly initiatives. This is an interactive platform for citizens to share their views in a free and peaceful environment in the true spirit of democratic traditions of our great Country.

Honouring a remarkable soldier and true patriot whose selfless service won him love and accolades from locals- Lt Gen DS Rana inaugurated the bust of Maj Bob Khating at Yangtse at 16000 ft while on visit to forward area. He appreciated the dedication and high morale of troops.

60th anniversary of Battle of Nuranang- Army Commander Eastern Command-Indian Army Lt Gen RP Kalita in presence of family members of 1962 war heroes laid wreath at Tawang War Memorial on behalf of a grateful nation. Family members of our War Heroes Sub Joginder Singh, PVC, Capt Mahavir Prasad, MVC, Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, MVC, Lance Naik Sardar Singh, VrC, Hav Govind Kamble, VrC and Rifleman Tabi Dafla joined troops & locals in paying homage.

Lt Col Brahmanand Avasthy Commanding Officer of 4 RAJPUT & 125 of his brave men fought to 'last man last round' despite being heavily outnumbered & outgunned, made supreme sacrifice at Lhgyala Gompa, Arunachal Pradesh.

Based on popular requests by locals of Sonitpur, Assam for Agniveer scheme, Indian Army had organised pre-recruitment training for 90 aspirants in July this year. 20 already successfully recruited in IA, Assam Rifles & Assam Police.

Gurupurab celebrated at Teesri Udasi at the site where Guru Nanak Dev halted during his - third odyssey on way to Lhasa, Tibet. Guru Nanak ji held in high esteem across Arunachal Pradesh & Tibet. Holyshrine at 14000 feet maintained by Indian Army. Festival celebrated with great reverence.
