Corinne and I were out shooting the Milky Way on Saturday. However there was also a beautiful shot of the Big Dipper. The rocks are lit up by the moon as it created the horizon. You may have to open the photograph in order to see the Big Dipper. Hope you enjoy the photograph.

This week we are off to a very interesting location in Pioche Nevada. The old Caselton Mill is formerly and combine metals mills from the middle part of the 1900's. We were given a unique opportunity to photograph the mill. We were lucky to be able to take photographs from inside and outside the buildings. We even managed to get a few interesting shots with the Drone. We hope you will take a few minutes to go and watch this video of a piece of Nevada's mining history.

Do you love landscape and nature photography, but would like to take your skills to the next level? Shawn and Corinne Severn (Youtube: Travels of Red Rover) will be teaching Landscape Photography at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). The class will be held on two Saturdays; October 23 and October 30, 2021 from 9 am - 4 pm. We will have some classroom sessions and then head out to a nearby park to practice your new skills.
