SYNOPSIS: Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas. Trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) affecting Mindanao.
Forecast Weather Condition:
>> Caraga, Davao Region, and SOCCSKSARGEN will experience cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms caused by Trough of LPA. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains
>> Central Visayas, Southern Leyte, and the rest of Mindanao
will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by Trough of LPA. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
>> Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, and the rest of Eastern Visayas will experience Cloudy skies with light rains caused by Northeast Monsoon. No significant impact
>> Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by Northeast Monsoon. No significant impact
Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Condition:
>> Strong from northeast to north will prevail over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Coastal waters will be rough / (2.8 to 4.0 meters).
>> Moderate to strong from northeast to east will prevail over Northern Luzon. Coastal waters will be moderate to rough / (1.2 to 3.4 meters).
>> Moderate to strong from northeast to north will prevail over the rest of the country. Coastal waters will be moderate to rough / (1.2 to 3.4 meters).
