Hi everyone! Just a reminder of our FAQ as we approach the event on this Saturday! Can't wait to see you all you there!
FAQ for I-con 2024
1. When Saturday 14th September 10am to 4pm
2. Where: Inverurie community campus
Postcode: AB51 3QZ for sat nav
The Campus is behind where the old building used to be. Drive up Victoria Street and you find us.
3. Tickets required: No and entry is free to all.
4. Summary of convention: Stalls, Gaming area, Quizzes, Cosplay competition.
5. Cash machines: None directly on site however there are some located at TSB and Clydedale banks are within a 10-minute walk. As not all stall holders can take card, please take some cash.
6. Food on site the team have organised a food van and ice cream truck. In about a 20-minute walk Inverurie offers Subway, Greggs, Mc Leish, Kilted frog and many others
7. Cosplay: A more detailed FAQ on this will be created however no BB guns, no strung bows, guns must have orange tips. Any issues please ask.
8. Accessibility: A large portion of the event is on the ground floor. The gaming area, workshop is planned for the first floor with access via stairs or lifts. Most doors are approx. 6ft for taller cosplays/cosplayers.
9. Cloakroom/Storage area: There is no areas for belongings to be left in the venue.
10. Wifi: Aberdeenshire wi-fi is available in the building but due to the volume of attendees it may become unreliable.
11. Parking: There will be limited parking outside the front door with a drop off-point if required and there will be more parking available in a nearby overflow.
12. Photography: When taking photos of cosplayers please ask permission before doing so.
