Creating a morning routine during my pregnancy has been SO HARD for me, but I finally feel like I have my rhythm. Once I start my workday, it’s so hard to stop, so making sure I prioritize myself and my baby in the morning has been vital to me.
I used to be ashamed to start my day past 9 am, but I thrive with a 10 am start time. The days I don’t work out, I either walk or rest. I listen to my body and do whatever it needs. Eating 2 breakfasts (😂🫣) has also helped me not feel ravenous and keep my energy levels high most days.
Turning my business into a freelance biz to a small company is not for the faint of heart, but working on big goals and growing a baby has never made me feel more proud!

Thank God for growth and learning 🤣 My first-ever social media marketing strategy was pretty but fluffy. I sold it for almost nothing and was proud to make my first sale.
The truth is I was anxious that it wasn’t going to be good enough, and it wasn’t. Well, it wouldn’t be good enough now and for my price. However, getting started is better than stalling and waiting for perfection. I am so glad I didn’t wait. I am so happy I sat down and put my best effort in.
Now, a pretty PDF is the least important aspect, IMO. I focus on understanding the client’s brand and vision. I spend hours that turn into days doing trend analysis, IG audit, learning about their ideal clients, analyzing their competitors, doing a content analysis, and considering their goals.
Yes, I feel silly looking back at my first strategy PDF, but this is my reminder to you that it’s better to look back and blush than to avoid starting.

I am far from where I want to be in business and financially, but it takes many entrepreneurs months to make a full time income off their brand new business and I want to share that God has been so good because what should haven taken months has taken weeks. 235 days until I’m your wife 💫 I’m never cheesy, but today I couldn’t help myself. This past year, with Tim, we grew as a couple and individually in so many ways. The level of support, respect, and unconditional love is something I could never have imagined growing up.
Growing up a I was a product of divorce; it was all I saw except for one couple in my church who I was always drawn to. As a young girl, I could see their love for one another, and as I got older, I asked them what it takes to have a love like theirs. They told me love was not enough. Instead, it’s the constant respect for one another. It’s choosing to date each other every single week. It means continuously making your relationship a priority and never allowing it to fall through the cracks.
I ended many relationships because that advice lived inside of me. I held on and waited. If you are single, I share this advice with you because there is someone out there who will respect you, hype you up, and love you so much. Waiting for this kind of love will always be worth it.

Last night I witnessed something beautiful… this sunset and something else.
Last night as God was showing off with this sunset, people were leaving their dinner tables to come together and bask in the beauty.
People of different races, social status, and political views…standing there laughing together, offering to take photos of one another, chatting with one another without any form of judgment or hate.
The sunset was beautiful, but that, well that moved me.
It goes to show the power of Gods hands. He created something so insanely beautiful that people came together to enjoy it together. It was special to witness.

Yesterday, a podcast came out where I publicly talked about my trauma for the first time. It was terrifying to say the least and a rollercoaster of emotions. The first time I listened I cried and the 2nd time I was able to really process what I was saying.
4 years ago my life turned upside down. 2 years ago I thought I would never have the strength to speak up and about what happened. 1 week ago I sat down to record a podcast with a complete strange and shared my story.
That is an evolution of healing. That is the power of taking control of the fear that latches on to every wound we encounter in our life time. Fear is a lie. Fear is meant to keep us small when we are meant for so much more.
I’m not a licensed therapist, but after years of therapy and healing trauma, PTSD, crippling anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts I have learned that behind all of that is a lie that allows fear into the wound that spreads like an infection. When we take the time to figure out the root of the fear, we then are capable of healing on new levels.
You are so much more than your past hurts, shame, trauma, and pain. You can still be successful without healing, but let me tell you that with healing you will not only be successful on paper, you hit levels of abundance and success you didn’t know was possible.
No matter how little or big your pain is, it’s still pain. Take the time to heal it and better yourself 🤎
