Testing complete ✅

The James Webb Space Telescope has completed its rigorous testing regimen at Northrop Grumman, where it successfully demonstrated that it can survive launch conditions and a space environment. Logistics and engineering teams will soon begin preparations to ship the observatory to its launch site of Kourou, French Guiana in South America.

This marks a major turning point for the mission. With integration and testing formally concluded for Webb, NASA’s next giant leap into the cosmic unknown will soon be underway.

Our twin Photon mission to Mars with UC Berkeley for NASA Sun Science moves a step closer to launch! ESCAPADE passed a significant milestone in its latest review with NASA and moves into the mission's next phase, with launch set for October 2024.

The Escape and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers (ESCAPADE) mission will orbit two Rocket Lab-built Photon spacecraft around Mars to understand the structure, composition, variability, and dynamics of Mars' unique hybrid magnetosphere. The mission will also support crewed exploration programs like Artemis through improved solar storm prediction.
