What a night for our 10th Anniversary! We won our first Eisner Award for Bram Stoker's Dracula and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein Slipcase set for DESIGN! We made a Game Boy game! This was a LOT of work and we'll be continuing to polish it into August with our team. If you pledge any level at Magnetic-Con 23... you'll get KAT'S ADVENTURE for free when it's out! Kat's Adventure is a "byte sized" action/adventure RPG set in the Black Box Chronicles Universe. This runs on real Game Boys! It also runs on Mac/PC/web. It even has touch controls if you're on mobile devices!

KAT’S ADVENTURE is a handheld retro game produced by Horrible Future. Based on the short story “Return to Ascender Station,“ written by Mark Schey and illustrated by Giovanni Rigano and featured in Magnetic Press and Horrible Future’s Sci-Fi anthology, BLACK BOX CHRONICLES.

The abandoned space port, Ascender Station, serves as young Kat’s playground... but can she unravel the mysteries that ignite her imagination and fuel her determination?

Playable on the web, mobile (touch controls!), pc, mac.... and Gameboy! Depending on how well this campaign goes we'll add a color mode. So make sure you jump on board and get some awesome books and swag!
