Me miré en muchos espejos y me di cuenta de que todo el mundo iba mucho mejor disfrazado que yo de “Alice in Wonderland” que era la temática de la fiesta.

There are days throughout the year where I find myself scrolling down my photo gallery looking at pictures from the decade I lived in Sweden.
I see the red houses like the one in the picture, the tall grass, wildlife, white winter landscapes and I find myself smiling in all of them…
It feels nostalgic but I am grateful for everything Sweden threw in my path, it made me who I am today and helped me perfect many of the skills I needed to take on the next challenges I had to face in life.
I learnt to shoot in Sweden, I became a mother in Sweden and climbed the career ladder there, surrounded by my new friends and Henry, far away from my roots, in a different culture and a different language…
I always think to myself when I look at these pictures:
“Sweden, were you a dream?”
… and if you were, you were the wildest and craziest roller coaster I could ever imagine.
