Kudos and appreciation post to FoodHouse by Madla! Since I am not feeling well today, I was craving for Tinolang Manok with Malunggay. Luckily, I found FoodHouse by Madla in UST. When I saw their menu I ordered additional items. See the photo of my orders and you would notice how affordable their meals, not to mention that its delicious.

To cut the long story short I ordered Leche Flan but they forgot to give it to Kuya Grab so I message them on their FB Page. Ms. Maika, Foodhouse staff is so professional. She responded promptly. She apologized and informed me that she already booked a rider to deliver the missing item.

I will definitely order again Foodhouse. 10/10 for the affordable and delicious food, and professional staff. 💯

I passed my Criminal Procedure subject today! Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Atty. Grace. Skl.

Last November, our Criminal Procedure beadle asked our professor who is the student who never backs out/ who never quits awardee? My professor answered, "Ms. ______". I was really moved. Three awards were given that night and I was not expecting to get any nor to be noticed by my professor. Actually, I just went back to school right after my mom passed away so to get that award meant a lot. My professor saw all my efforts and hardwork. My professor is also straight forward, too observant, honest and fair with her feedback; so her words had the greatest impact because I know she meant every word she said.

Atty. Grace, you have no idea how much you motivated me last year to finish the semester no matter what I was going through and feeling that time. I finished and submitted on time my 90+ handwritten case digests in Criminal Procedure and 70+ cases in Sales and Lease because of your words and motivation.

Several breakdowns during night time then will go back right away to studying and digesting cases. I was so ambivalent whether I will even pass any of my subjects this semester. To see today that I passed my Criminal Procedure subject made my day. Such a happy day! I really learned a lot from you. I felt how passionate you are whenever you are teaching us, and how you want equality and fairness to be applied in our justice system. May you thrive even more in your career. I really admire you, Atty. Grace. Such an inspiration 💗

10/10 rating for GREEN BONES

Naghanap sila ng isang green bone mula sa buto ni Dom pero hindi isa kundi isang daang green bones ang natagpuan nila. Ang sabi pag may nakitang green bone sa crinemate na tao ibig sabihin ay naging mabuti syang tao nung nabubuhay pa siya. -Green Bones

I remember when my mom was cremated last October the staff gave us green bones and told us to keep it because its kinda lucky charm. But today, I discovered that once you find a green bone from someone who got cremated it means s/he lived a good life. I know na naging mabuting tao and ina ang mama ko. She is not perfect but for me she is the best. I hope she is also living a good life up there.

Anways, my law school friends planned to sleep during the entire film, however, the contrary happened. While watching the movie we even discussed criminal law, parole, criminal extinguishment, and prescriptive period of murder (20 years), and bakit kasi hinawakan ni Dennis Trillo yung murder weapon eh di yung fingerprints nya andun na agad. Hahaha! Wala pag ganitong films matic na law perspective na kami agad.

Honestly, I highly recommend this movie. Dasurv din talaga ni Dennis Trillo ang best actor award sa MMFF 2024.👏

I also recommend The Kingdom by Vic Sotto and Piolo Pascual. Father's love was so evident. Kudos to MMFF 2024 ang gaganda ng film entries! Talagang dekalidad! 👌💯

I really hope those bridges I burned and people I cut off back in 2024 would no longer be part of my 2025. I earnestly hope I would no longer cross paths with them or see them ever again. ✨️

I used to be that person who reaches out. I used to be that person who bridges people. I used to be that person who always wanted to talk things out. I used to be that person who patches things first before others. I used to be that person who sets up gatherings. I used to be that person who always wanted to be with my friends and be there for them. Yes, I used to be that person who prioritizes others.

But sometimes, things happen and people change. Even me. Experiences taught me important lessons in life. I no longer feel the need to always be that person. When people no longer value and see you as someone like they used to see you before, the best way to respond is to just stop. When people no longer care, it’s okay to stop caring for them. It’s okay to stop reaching out and just be within your space. It’s okay to not bridge anymore especially when people no longer wanted to cross it. It’s okay to be silent when people no longer want to talk it out. It’s okay to stop patching things up when people have already decided not to. It’s okay to prioritize yourself before others. Yes, It’s okay to end friendships.

As we navigate life's stormy seas, we all deserve the peace we need. And if ending some friendships helps, then be it.
