Tales Fae the East are offering free filmmaking workshops in February and March.
Filmmaking is one of the most significant ways to make your voice heard. Most of us carry camera phones in our pocket. These offer us a means of recording, editing and sharing our films that’s incredibly powerful.
If you’re looking to develop your skills in different ways, this may be the workshop for you. Everyone is welcome to come along, but we’d particularly like to reach people who are currently out of work, or have declined school attendance.
All of the apps we use will be free.
People from Haghill, Sighthill and Dennistoun will be given priority of place on these workshops.
At the end of the run of workshops we’ll run a special screening event online, where your final films will be shared with the world.
Make your voice heard, learn how to make films with us for free. Contact us on [email protected]

We talk about her life growing up both here and away and what her experience of Sighthill was. We then talk about her studies and travels, taking in Paris, Ireland and Australia.
Our conversation also goes into the nature of social housing and community, then we talk about Scots lingustic identity. We also celebrate the impact that Mrs Winters, Mandy's art teacher had on her life.
