I AM YOUR GOOD SERVANT BUT DON'T CATCH ME ON THE WRONG SIDE.

Good morning Zambians.

Today we talk about the removal of political carders from markets and bus stations countrywide and the resistance this Presidential declaration has met so far.
We begin by saluting The Republican President for taking such a bold decision among others because this was the cause of pain and chaos in these public places as he rightly put it .

This decision did not sit well with the carders both from the opposition PF and the ruling UPND.

On the side of the PF it was time to hide in the declaration and make sure they continue with their already formed structures in those public places and to stop UPND from forming structures so that the eating could be for PF only.

The UPND on the Other hand being the ruling party could not be watching PF strengthen their position in these places while they stand that side and look.

This triggered the proposition by Honourable Mwaliteta to want to form branches in Markets and bus stations countrywide so that they could out do the PF dominance in those places.

As such a new debate was birthed and it needed an amicable solution through the Republican President making his stance being known.

In that debate the general public who are partakers in the peace and tranquility that characterises these public places after this declaration was made by the Republican President also wanted the President to remain steadfast and defend his decision that favors the majority Zambians who voted for him to remain in that comfort zone when the status quo is not changed.

At a press conference held at State House ground last Thursday he mentioned among other things that those places were places of pain and chaos but now they are places of comfort and peace.

He further went on to address honourable Mwaliteta to call for a meeting at some neutral place and he will be in attendance also.

To the PF he told them to behave themselves and that they were lucky because he was President.

He was not done until he was done by putting it to every citizen including those from PF and UPND that he was a good servant but we should not catch him on the wrong side.

That was it.

He made his stance known.

The debate was over.

He put smiles on every well meaning and level headed Zambian who partronise those public facilities on a day to day basis or even once in a while.

That is the type of leadership this country was longing for .

A leadership whose decisions are made with a taste of credibility, morality, dignity intelligence and Goodwill for the benefit of all citizens.

We therefore hail you our Republican President for showing us good leadership qualities as examplified in the decisions you have taken so far.

To the UPND carders we feel the President needs more time to be able to deal squarely with the problems you face . You heard him talking big about you when he talked about forest and wood processing and export licenses to be a preserve of zambians.

The fact that he is a successful business man means a lot to all citizens that he can use his experience and expertise mixed with wisdom in excellence to see to it that more zambians including you carders can venture into better paying businesses than just doing caderism .

We must also not forget that the President was voted for by many others than just UPND and Alliance partners . So by and large expectations are high and mostly they are a priority to him.

We must also be live to the fact that the difference in those elections was the involvement of the hand of God which went round the country waking up people to go and line up to vote for one Hakainde Hichilema lest we feel it was just out of our own making only but victory was delivered under the arm of the Lord to whom the Glory should be given.

Let us think about the votes we got from places like kanyama where the MP was not known by the electorates up to the voting day but won with a resounding victory.
So President HH was destined to rule this country and for that no amount of rigging and intimidation would manage to stop the will and favor of the Lord.

So let us thanks God Almighty for making it possible that his will Was in our favor.

To the PF we leave you in the behave bracket where the President put you.

We congratulate you Dr D Kalyalya on your re appointment as BOZ governor by His Excellence President Hakainde Hichilema.
Your re appointment to this high office will leave a mark in Zambia's rich history for this generation.
As a great country we have learned through this re appointment that courage suppresses accident , mighty suppresses power while intergrity and professionalism at work places breeds atmost good faith and favor from God almighty.
To the Lord God be the glory ,wisdom and majesty.

REBRANDING THE ALREADY REBRANDED AFTER LOSING ELECTIONS.

We welcome the idea of rebranding the party by our brothers and sisters in the once mighty Patriotic Front.

We have seen in this great country of ours former rulling parties rebranding in order to win elections which follows their loss of power to others political parties.

Talking about the two political parties UNIP and MMD who wrestled for power against one another during the Advent of multiparty democracy when Zambia said bye to a one Party participatory democracy we can plainly say it has been practically impossible for a former rulling political party to rebrand and win Presidential elections in this young democracy of ours.
UNIP tried to get back to power in 1996 but it was dribbled to the ground level by the chiluba administration which used it's majority in Parliament to change the constitution and barred kaunda from seeking re election because both his parent were not Zambian.
KK as he was popularly known tried by all means to fight for his right to run for elections once again but he failed and went ahead to boycott those elections of 1996.
That decision made by UNIP and KK to boycott the 1996 elections to a large extent meant the end of their presence in Parliament thereby paving way to Dean Namulya Mung'omba and his zadeco party to assume the position of main opposition party .
From that time UNIP has not fared well during elections as it is examplified in the results they were getting from constituency to constituency in the just ended elections.
In the same vein the MMD also failed to really pickup after it lost elections to king Cobra in 2011.
They tried to reorganize and to rebrand but to no avail until this time around when their gallant leader Dr Nevers Sekwila Mumba made us proud as a country to come out of the loss of elections and congratulate the winners President HH and the UPND and the Zambian people even before the ECZ made the final announcement.
When one reads that speech where he conceded defeat they can conclude that he is a great son of this soil that needs to play a bigger role in the leadership of this great country of ours even if he didn't win elections.

We strongly feel that the same speech played a very important role in encouraging other opposition parties to concede defeat and congratulate the victors.
Now we learn about the rebranding in the PF and wish them well in the rebranding process.
We would therefore like to remind the PF of what the country had gone through during their time in office and advise them that the memories of citizens are still very fresh and there is no amount of rebranding that can make citizens vote for PF for them to win the 2026 elections maybe not in this generation.
The arrogance portrayed by some ministers while in office to the extent of threatening citizens those with divergent views, the hooliganism portrayed by political carders to the extent of fishing out procurement officers at ministries all in the accusation of them not belonging to the PF but UPND and the general carder welfare in intimidating the general public everywhere in the spheres of human endeavor can not be forgotten by many just in this generation maybe in generations to come.

The other stumbling block is the type of politics that has been introduced introduced by the new dawn administration we don't think PF can compete favourably. Where there is no intimidation but just competition of ideas it will take time for them to learn.

Taking note of the above, we wish them well in the rebranding process.

THE DARKEST HOUR OF THE NIGHT IS THE HOUR BEFORE DAWN.

Today we talk about that hour of the night in reference to the happenings around our political sphere and economic down turn as being experienced in our beloved country Zambia.
When Former President Mwanawasa was ashered into office after those highly contested elections of 2001 may his soul rest in peace we noticed one thing.
At the inauguration ceremony he made very very important pronouncements that his will be a government of laws and not men .And that he was going to be the President of all Zambians regardless whether you voted for him him or you didn't.
His mother was called upon to say something on how she felt about the election victory of her son and his rise to the highest office in the land.

She went on to praise all those who made the election of her son to the highest office of the land a success. Then she went on to caution her son not to be selective in delivering the much needed services and development to the Zambian people.

Using Lenje her mother tongue she said"Mwanangu akulela chishi muta salauli. Abe mulozi ,Abe mubemba, Abe mutonga , Abe mwina chipata bonse mbako. Bakaku votela abatakakuvotela bonse mbako. Very very important voice of unity from a mother to a President may her soul rest in peace for propagating peace for mother Zambia.

For the first time since the inception of multiparty democracy in 1991 President Mwanawasa went out of his way by appointing MPs from other political parties to become ministers in his government which he branded New Deal Administration .

He then spent long hours and sometimes sleepless nights in office in order to make sure our country attained the then most talked about highly indebted poor countries -HIPC complition point where most of Zambia's debt was cancelled.
As a result we started breathing a new economic life and everything came back to normal to the extent that the dollar went to as low as less than 5 kwacha per dollars.
After his demise in 2008 we voted in RB whose tenure will be remembered for having more cash in circulation and the mashrooming of more caders in positions of influence . The dependency on political carders in running the markets and bus station contributed heavily to MMD's loss of power in 2011.

There came king Cobra with his more money in your pocket, more jobs and lower taxes slogan . He inherited full coffers from MMD but later resorted to heavy borrowing .

In President Michael sata 's Patriotic Front era that is where we started seeing the worst side of the so called political caders when carders went to a church in matero and beat up every worshiper including revelands who were conducting the church services.
Everyone scampered in all directions until the police intervened to restore order.
Little did we know that this was the beginning of the darkest hour of our political history as a country.
President Edgar Chagwa Lungu came in as humble Man who was anointed to rule by late President sata through the bye election of 2015 and later on he was re elected Republican President with a very small margin to run for his second and last term of office.
In this era we saw things changing to the worst .
We saw ECL slowly harbouring appetite to run for another term which according to him it was supposed to be his final five year term. When the people of Zambia put it to him that since 1991 no one has the right go for a third term after they have been sworn in twice he gave them deaf ears.
ECL insisted to run for another term until it was given to him to be eligible to run again .
This to a great extent divided our country and we saw brutality of highest order and the darkest hour for those Zambians who were perceived to be anti ECL third term.

The media space was closed for those with divergent views.

Our current Republican President was arrested fifteen times all because he was perceived to be the leader of the struggle for the right and also to bed the incoming President by most Zambians.
Caders also came up with a strategy to beat up everyone dressed in red and blame it on the UPND.
Most Zambians started living in fear while most institutions of governance new what to do when dealing with PF carders who came to be referred to as "Abantu bandi " by ECL meaning my people.
To all the citizens of this great country this came to pass as a lesson for all who detested dictatorship in a democracy like ours.
We resolved to move together with one accord.
We resolved to move together in demolishing the once mighty Patriotic Front which had brought unprecedented darkness in our hour of peace.
Yes we resolved to bring joy to our hearts in the morning of August 12 when the bell did ring as according to Psalms 30v5 which says : for His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping endures forever in the night, but joy comes in the morning.

That was the hour before dawn which gave birth to the new leader.

Its out of this new leader that the new dawn was born.
The leader who puts God Almighty first before everything.
A leader who puts citizens first before self.
A leader who wants level headed people to occupy positions of influence for the good of the country.
A leader who wants everyone to prosper regardless whether you are from his party UPND or you belong elsewhere.
A leader who wants Justice for all not only his party members.
That leader is Hakainde Hichilema His Excellence.The Republican President of this Great Republic of Zambia .

Let's support him because he means well for our country.

NEW DAWN GOVT PUTS MORE MONEY IN PEOPLE'S POCKETS.

Today we draw your attention to the new dawn administration and one of the achievements they have made so far which we as a people will live to remember.

The removal of political carders from markets and bus station .

In the last administration collection of council revenue from these places was done by carders meaning everything they collected was shared between carders and the party chairpersons leaving the marketeers and bus drivers and conductors with literally nothing to take home.

The reasoning behind this type of thinking is that you enrich the few who would in return suppress the masses and force them into submission that the king at the helm of leadership of the country should rule forever.

The carders also opted for reinforcement from the new brand of carders called junks in their bid to please their Masters and making sure that the job which they were given to do was effectively done.

These junks seized most unfinished buildings in compounds as their offices and places where they used to draw strategies on how to pounce on people's homes night and day all in the name of being party militants.

This trend went on unchecked to unprecedented levels such that no amount of control could work.

When violence escalates to such levels it becomes practically impossible for the government to enforce the rule of law let alone to give lawful orders because party functionaries have taken over the running of government.

You could hear conflicting statements where the President would say stop the violence and in the evening on the news the SG says the IG must tame the UPND so that they stop violence when in fact it's the ruling party who were perpetrators of Political violence.

The law of motion says to every action there is equal and opposite reaction. Others say whatsoever goes up must come down.

And the Bible in Daniel chapter five verses 25 to 28 emphasizes on the writings on the plastered walls of King Belshazzar because of what he did to the utensils of the Temple of God .

Even to these friends of ours for remaining mute when institutions of governance were receiving torment from political carders the writings were on the wall and they needed an interpretation which the Zambian people gave to them on August 12.

The only problem when Zambians send you to the wire like they did to PF, MMD and UNIP is that there is no more coming back to power unless otherwise.

With the Advent of the new dawn administration this trend has changed.

The focus has changed from the few to masses thereby putting more money in people's pockets.

By just a single order from His Excellence the President Mr Hakainde Hichilema all the carders have run away from Markets and bus stations.

This has left the marketeers , bus drivers , taxi drivers and their conductors with more money in their pockets if they can put to good use and keep nicely the monies which they used to give to carders.

Our appeal to citizens of this country is there is no turning back like we did to UNIP and MMD lest we turn into salt like Lot's wife.

THE FIRING OF SOME PERMANENT SECRETARIES , DEPUTIES AND COMMISSIONERS AMONG OTHERS BY THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT.

We agree with the President on this one as the trend has been in Zambia's past history.
Infact we need to thank him for taking his time in making these decisions even amidst pressure from his own party stalwarts .
To the UPND and those Zambians who await to be appointed we have this to say; we all have seen the number of positions that have been rendered vacant after the firing of those people.

When we look at that number against the people who are lining up with CVs in order to fill up those positions from the UPND and across divide we realize the number is too small to engulf all.

We know there are those of us who have supported the Party from inception in 1998 to date whether publicly or secretly who need to be rewarded in one way or the other al but we should be live to the fact that not all freedom fighters enjoy the fruits of the of the freedoms they fight for but would still be mentioned as victors in those struggles for the right.

What is more important or very very important in such a struggle like we undertook was to win and everything shall be given to us through the good vision of the government.

There is no government undere the sun that will manage to employ formally everyone who supported the struggle.

The struggle is supported by many but formal employment is a preserve for a few.

We need to be thankful President HH for putting it to all Zambians that this country can be ruled with impartiality without bias yet again by making sure that all Presidential decisions he makes are inclusive in achieving a better Zambia for all.

A Zambia which is anchored not only on the UPND as the party in power but a Zambia which can rise above party politics where every citizen matters most in decision making.
By so doing it doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate the people who supported him but he wants to appreciate everyone who supported his bid for Presidency.

In wanting to achieve progress in what he has embarked on he has made some strides in making sure the political playing field is levelled by removing political carders and carderism In general not only in markets and bus stations country wide but also to disown those who made their cash by introducing would be investors to ministers and the Presidency.
On the other hand he has levelled the business playing field by encouraging everyone to do business freely without undue Political influence for the benefit of all Zambians.

He is also working around the clock to come up with best policies ,programs and innovations which will work in order to lower the cost of doing business .

So for all these ideas to work we need to change our mind set from that old way of growing the ruling party first and growing the economy later to a new waive of politics of growing the economy first so that the ruling party can flourish and spread it's tentacles in a well grown economy.

This is the new dawn.

Above all this is the voice of reason

This type of reasoning evaded the Presidency in the past because of political appetite to hold on to power unconditionally by ECL and the PF.

Let's support The Republican President for the good he has done to our country so far.

From UPND and beyond let every citizen pull together with him as he pushes to make our country a paradise in line with his mandate, the UPND mandate.

HE HAS NEVER BEEN AN MP OR COUNCILOR

This morning we look at how the selfish politicians of this country teamed up to label His Excellence the President Hakainde Hichilema an under five that could not make a grade for Presidency.

They gathered from from the East to West and from the North to South looking for excuses to use in order to stop HH from being voted for President and this became one of their theme songs.

There has been a belief in this country to say one can only be a good President if they pass through the council and parliament .

To a greater extent that belief has been watered down by the ashering in of President HH to Presidency.

We see today an armature and under five proving the experienced politicians wrong by coming up with a new waive of politics that has given birth to the new dawn .

Things that go top of the agenda in this new dawn are :-
1. Every Zambian must enjoy total freedom under the flag like never before where to do business you do not need be forced to belong to the ruling party. This means the political and business environments have been levelled to say for you to think better you don't need to belong to the ruling party.
2. The new dawn demands every citizen to start thinking outside the box like what can I do for my country as opposed to what is the government going to do for me in order to better our lives.

Our Republican President has demonstrated to us beyond reasonable doubt that he is equal to the task by his policy pronouncements so far, removal of political carders from markets and bus stations, appointing deserving men and women to cabinet portfolios from all the ten provinces and most importantly conducting an induction workshop for cabinet ministers which is the first ever in the history of this country even on the continent as a whole.

This to us is a big milestone in setting the tone of how he wants to govern the country . So for those who are hell bent on criticizing everything he does we say pull up your socks because the bar has been raised already.

The standard of criticism needed now is supposed to be higher than the one given to ECL and PF because the quality of leadership is now higher than ever before.

The big lesson we are learning as a country is that sometimes those people who feel like they are champions in spelling out our political destiny don't mean well for the country but their pockets. So going forward we should watch out for those people no matter what political gymnastics they want to engage in.

This lesson we have learned now pushes us to the issue of separation of power in a democracy like ours.
We have observed that there is some lack of total Independence between parliament and the executive where an MP is again appointed minister in the executive wing of government.

We understand that this is what the law provide but to think outside the box we feel that ministers can even perform better if they are chosen from outside parliament.

When parliament is in session sometimes you find that may be there's an urgent cabinet meeting and the ministers are excused by parliament to go and attend the cabinet meeting thereby leaving some vacuum in Parliament as to who would debate on behalf of the absentee MPs who are attending cabinet meetings.

There are times when these two need to check the other. The question we should ask ourselves is if one is an MP and a cabinet minister do we expect them to check themselves. The answer is no.

We therefore propose that in order to foster separation of power which is true in mention and deed we need as a country to start appointing cabinet ministers from outside parliament.

This will help the President to have a bigger pond to choose from . Some of our people who are not in Parliament are better placed in terms of experience , expertise and academic qualifications than our MPs and ministers put together.

The benefits which Zambia would get from such an arrangement is that we will have a bigger chance of bringing into governance of this country many people qualified like President Hakainde Hichilema who would come and do wonderful things even without passing through Parliament or council.

So we seek to remove this bottle neck in Zambia's quest for good leaders.

I HATE BY-ELECTIONS.
Today we talk about the issue of BY-ELECTIONS and why the President mentioned that he hates them and what should be done to get rid of the same .

He hates BY-ELECTIONS because they are a drain on the national resource base as the same money spent on them can be used to other needy areas like providing good health services and education .

Now the question is with the many petitions before the courts will the UPND and President HH be involved in campaigns in the resultant BY-ELECTIONS ? The answer is yes.

The other question is should the President be judged to be insincere for being involved in these BY-ELECTIONS after he expressed hatred for the same in his speech to parliament? The answer is no.

The explanation to give here is even if the President hates BY-ELECTIONS the current law as it is does not support his stance so we need to change the law in order to put to bed the issue of these BY-ELECTIONS.
We need to change our current system where we vote for the President,MP , council chairperson and councilor and replace it with what is called " proportional representation system".

This Proportional Representation system is the one that is adopted by most countries in the region. Countries like Angola, Botswana, Namibia , South Africa , and Mozambique have adopted it except for Zambia ,Zimbabwe and Malawi.

In the Proportional Representation system citizens only vote once for the party. Political parties would have held their respective congresses to elect their party lists. The President is elected by MPs from among MPs Party lists.

So what happens in an event a sitting MP or councilor dies. The parties make replacements using the lists from their respective congresses. It therefore means no more BY-ELECTIONS.

Now the work that remains ahead of us and those critics to President HH is to petition parliament to give us this proportional representation system which is provided for in the Mun'gomba draft as opposed to calling him names for the sins he has not committed.

Mathew 5: 44 reads:. But i tell you love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you.
Today we have received the news about the acquital of Mr chishimba Kambwili by the courts of law .
Lessons being learned from such land mark judgements are that when God Almighty sides with the people in ashering new leadership of a country vengeance becomes solely his.
One would wonder if it was in the PF with Edgar at the helm of leadership of this country and Kambwili campaigned in that manner against Edgar what would happen.
Now we have a new government in place preaching love for one another whether your enemies or not as long you are Zambian
We have a President who preaches unity and not hatred amongst all Zambians regardless where you hail from.
Yes one who can appoint his cabinet on merit and with representation from all the ten provinces to foster tribal balancing.
A President who publicly tells the institutions of governance to do their work independently without any interference and not to punish the opposition using the same institutions.

Now the fruits of good governance are enjoyed even by those who called him names.
We will always praise the Lord Almighty for giving us such a one in the time of need.
May the Good Lord bless our country.
