Children's Health Defense (CHD) have (or had) several lawsuits pending for various constituencies of NYC workers suffering mandates (Teachers for Choice, NYC Police, perhaps others).
They have had nearly a perfect losing streak for all of their COVID cases, including the NYC cases.
(We've studied a lot of these cases, and it seems like CHD is NOT playing to win. The types of cases they are taking make BUSY WORK for attorneys, but largely WILL NOT change the status quo for most people. Their arguments are WEAK TEA, they call extremely dodgy expert witnesses, and get involved in mostly trivial matters, like dumb "exemption" schemes, and collective bargaining agreements, etc. AND NOT THE CORE FRAUD.)
Along comes a non-CHD attorney, Chad LaVeglia, who wins his
case for NYC Sanitation Workers. see, e.g.,

(The case is being appealed, and the judge's order will not be enforced by the Mayor. It's also being actively discussed whether this will apply to a broad class of similarly fired workers, or to just the plaintiffs in the case.)

So now CHD is fundraising around a case which CHD did not win,
and which wasn't even a CHD case!!!! 🤷🤦
