THE MARRIED GIRLFRIEND

CHAPTER 1

I had had a long day at work so, it was a relief when the bike man dropped me in front of my house. I planned to have a cool bath, have a hearty meal, and then have some rest. After that, I planned to go out to catch fun with my friends. It was Friday and that meant I wasn’t going to work the next day which was of course, Saturday. I lived on the third floor, and that meant I had to pass by my neighbours’ apartments before going into mine. Most of my neighbours were in front of their apartments but I didn’t greet any one of them.

A long time ago, I had made the decision of never interacting with my neighbours. I had learnt a bitter lesson. Back in the days when I was still a student in the university, I was a neighbour to these three beautiful girls who lived in an apartment that was close to mine. Since they were all girls, I was like the only brother they had. We functioned and did everything like siblings. Then, one day, everything changed.

It all started when their apartment was almost burgled by armed robbers. As the men of the underworld tried to force their door open, they shouted for help desperately and called for me to come to their aid. I was deep asleep in our own apartment when as if in a dream, I heard someone screaming and shouting my name. I slowly came back to consciousness and realized that it was real. My neighbours were under attack and they were calling me for help.

With my instincts acting faster than my reasoning, I got up from bed and rushed to the main door of our house. I was surprised to find my uncle there. He had also heard the desperate screams and had wanted to help. But how could we? The robbers were armed, and we weren’t. It was risky for us to open our door at that ungodly hour of the night. Luckily for us, and for the girls too, the robbers panicked because of their screams, and ran away. The following day, they stopped talking to me. They were angry that I didn’t come to t

Chapter two

Its been a while since I left home it been up to six months now, neither did I get a job or was even called for an interview its like life is getting worst by the minute, I couldn't take it anymore I knew I had to go back home, beg my parents for forgiveness and follow them back to farm, but unknowingly to me the journey just started, that's when I meet holga,holga and I were very different people who happened to fall into the same fate, while I was a good and responsible boy, holga on the other hand was the complete opposite, she was stubborn, she did drugs and all kinds of illegal things, but here is the funniest thing, that is what I love her for when I first meet her I knew she was my soulmate but we were to different people from different backgrounds, different characters, but still we fell in love, this is how it all happened

Few years back
An unknown girl named holga just moved into the compound of my resident I thought as a good gesture I should go welcome her so I did
Jimmy : hey,how are you doing?

Holga : am good, thank you
Jimmy : you aren't much of a talker, are you
Holga : you aren't much of it too,so talk to me what do you want
Jimmy : nothing much I just wanna be friends with you, that's all
Holga : seriously how cute, e bi like say something dey worry you for brain, you dey run colosis,which kind of rough play be this na,I just come never even enter house you dey here dey rant rubbish, friendship my foot hiss
Jimmy : look am sorry don't take it that way you are really feisty, I love that in a woman
Holga : yoga see this heart(points to her chest) is not for love, just pleasure if you want then come later
Jimmy : really don't worry I make you follow in love without you noticing you were

Chapter one
My name is jimmy, and since I was born I have always felt this force that holds me from the world and its residents, I have always stand out of the crowd,the world's a big place you might think,been timid is undo able but my own type of timidity is on a whole other level, my family wasn't really a rich one so we stayed in the shadows for a long time hoping to rise again someday, but sometimes I lose hope in it all, but there always hope when there is life
So on a particular day I made my decision and left home to find myself and my better half for a better future
