In the realms of esports and gaming, the Southeast Asian country of the Philippines is home to numerous personalities who possess this kind of brilliance within this categorical excellence. Known as "The Gaming House Trainees and Mentors," the legacy of Tier One Entertainment pioneers its way to the premiere of its 2nd annual awarding event, the IRL Awards, which features the past and present awe-inspiring e-sports and entertainment artists of the association.

Slated to be the most riveting and notable end-year event of Tier One since the entertainment’s inception last 2021, this year’s awe-inspiring award-winning show is said to be their greatest comeback of all. Ushering in the theme of "Greatness and Excellence," the mainstream industry dedicated this year’s concept to exemplify and honor the values that prospered Tier One itself to where it is now, thus making it their most momentous and noteworthy award show yet.

The roster of shows vying for top honors at this year’s IRL Awards includes plenty of notable personalities, which includes plenty of notable personalities, which includes previous champion holders, "Ohmyv33nus " and "Stormi Gaming" Thanks to the next wave of cultural media buzz and overwhelming support from the general public, a crop of newcomers and first
time candidates, including "Astre" and Sharlene San Pedro, could eventually venture out alongside these homegrown top-tier contenders. There is no doubt that the recognition of these well-known names would bring in a lot of respectable recognition from the public—and maybe even spark a whole lot of interest in various social media platforms in the process. In light of Tier One’s high expectations for this year’s IRL Awards, you’ll most definitely want to keep an eye out for your ultimate esports faves!

As the effervescent ceremony of the IRL Awards spiraled within Oasis Manila, which commenced on December 12, 2022, at 6 p.m., Philippine time, the explicitness and veracity that this award show coaxed surely put the cherry on top of 2022 for Tier-One Entertainment.

The IRL Awards have been an event that became much-anticipated ever since the field of e-sports skyrocketed within the nation, and after two years of lockdowns, it's finally back in all of its glory. The recent event even featured phenomenal gaming stars including the beguiling co-founder Alodia Gosiengfiao, DexieDiaz, and World Champions Blacklist International.

Initially, as the esports artists representing the organization's best of the best appeared in every corner of the star-studded event, the spotlight was cast on many of the esports nominees. In recognition of the brilliance and adroitness of some of the country’s top-tier gaming artists, 72 awards and a spotlight of victory propelled Tier One’s cream of the crop. The undisputed brilliance of the entertainment industry's esports and gaming space flourished in the IRL Awards, as the winners were each showcased in the categorical honors of major awards and special awards.

Prominent Winners of the IRL Awards 2022

As OhMyV33nus took home a trophy as the "E-Sports Captain of the Year," this proved how his persistence and great leadership for his team, Blacklist International, are solely recognized. Along with him is a victory for his teammate, Wise, who was named "Esports Professional Player of the Year," earning Blacklist a total of two Special Awards.

The uproarious vlogger and pride of Team Payaman himself, Cong TV, was awarded the "Above and Beyond Award" for the male category. More so, he also won the "Youtube Partner of the Year" and "Instagram Creator of the Year" awards for the male category, giving him a total of 3 awards from the event.

While the vivacious gamer, Dexie Diaz, was granted the awards of "Above and Beyond Award" and "Tiktok Creator of the Year" for the female category, alongside the "Female MVP (Apex Legends)" award, making her fans surely proud of her winning 3 trophies.

Of course, how could we forget the all-time rookie gaming star, Sharlene San Pedro? She greatly succeeded in receiving 3 awards, whereas she received 2 in the female category, which is the "Youtube Partner of the Year" award, the "Instagram Creator of the Year" award, and 1 for the special award, which is the "Prodigy to Tier One Talent" award.

Other IRL Awards 2022 Honorees

Streamer and video creator, "AnjGaming", received the "Amplify Program Ambassadorship Award," together with the award of "Facebook Partner of the Year" in the female category and the "Female MVP in Call of Duty: Mobile" award, winning her 3 IRL awards.

Donnn, the gaming genius, received three awards: the "Amplfy Program Ambassadorship Award," the "Outstanding Amplify Creator" award, and the "Male MVP in CODM" award.

The Esports prodigy, Bulldog, won the "E-sports Mobile Game of the Year" award, the "Male MVP in Mobile Legends" award, and the "Prodigy to Tier One Talent" award, gaining him 3 awards, both from the special award and major award categories.

The well-favored and likable streamer Maggiekarp won 2 IRL awards, which are the titles of "Twitch Streamer of the Year" in the female category, as well as the "Variety Streamer of the Year" award.

Also a pride of Team Payaman, Junnie Boy won the "Tiktok Creator of the Year" award in the male category.

E-Sports talent Galawang Osas Bata won the "Esports PC Gamer of the Year" award and the "Male MVP in GTA V" award.
The winner of the "Caster of the Year in Mobile" award is BurgerKim, the "Caster of the Year in PC" award was granted to Kalbz, while Lykable received the "Esports Host of the Year" award alongside Tryke Gutierrez, who won the "E-Sports Personality of the Year" award. More so, Hakken 八犬, who took home the "International Creator Award," Fuego Gaming, who won the "Rising VOD Creator of the Year," and DEX STAR, who won the "E-Sports Phenomenal Coach of the Year" award.

For the Female MVP awards, Biancakevwon the ‘Female MVP in Dota 2" award, while Shola Hey took home the ‘Female MVP in GTA V" award. SolidAngela then bagged the "Female MVP in Mobile Legends" award, and lastly, Tisay won the "Female MVP in Valorant.

Last but most definitely not least is the Male MVP award, where Pabbie Gaming took home the "Male MVP in Apex" award, Carlo "Kuku" Palad who won the "Male MVP in Dota 2" award, Boss Maw was granted the "Male MVP in Valorant" award, and Elie Gaming was awarded ‘Male MVP in Wild Rift" award.

As the awarding ceremony came to an end, the venue was filled with warm greetings of congratulations from the artists, directors, and guests towards those stars of the night who won numerous awards. The dance floor was truly placed in a euphoric moment with the famous DJ Bandit, who rocked the afterparty with his high-spirited and flamboyant tunes. As midnight struck, the COO of Tier One, Alodia Gosiengfiao, enthusiastically greeted her sister, Ashley Gosiengfiao, and the Tier-One family with a loving Happy Birthday. Truly, the event was a year ending ceremony for the organization, as the artists and guests greatly embodied the Greatness and Excellence they instilled within this year’s IRL Awards.

Tier One Entertainment’s IRL Awards celebrates Greatness and Excellence this December 2022.

(Manila, Philippines) - Tier One Entertainment, Asia’s premier esports and entertainment brand, is back with IRL Awards, its annual ceremony recognizing its top performing talents in the esports and gaming industry.

For this year’s theme, IRL Awards is celebrating “Greatness and Excellence,” the core values that have allowed the company to survive and thrive over the last five years. It aims to recognize every success story, acknowledge the challenges faced and steer the company towards greater heights in the future.

A total of 68 awards will be awarded to its talents in recognition of their outstanding performance including the coveted Truly Top Tier Lifetime Achievement Award.
IRL Awards will be held in Oasis Manila on December 12, 2022 at 6:00 PM.
