I lived out a dream today, yall. I met Seán McLoughlin aka Jacksepticeye. I cannot emphasize enough just how amazing it was. I fangirled, we bantered playfully and chatted, and I got to thank him for his content being there in some of the darkest times of my depression. I got to tell him how much he makes me laugh!!! The first thing I said to him from a few paces away (when I though I wasn’t going to get to meet him due to unforeseen circumstances) was, “Seán, you’re my all time favorite content creator!!” Without missing a beat he looks at me and goes, “That’s a f***ing lie” and chuckles, like we’re just friends bantering!! I doubled down and assured him he really was my favorite, and my BFF who came with me to New York Comic Con was like, “No seriously dude, you absolutely are.” He thanked me so graciously and smiled.

THANKFULLY I did meet him, and I got to chat with him. That’s when I told him how much his content has been there for me, and how much he makes me laugh, like REALLY belly laugh or laugh until I’m wheezing sometimes. We chatted about being old, and being neorodivergent. I thanked him for being open about mental health, its importance, and his struggles with it.

That man is an absolute dang delight. Super genuine, humble, and kind.

Shoutout to the folks at Badd Egg Publishing who were so swamped today at . They were really trying their best to handle the crowd, so many people were there to see Seán. Grateful to the editor who showed me so much compassion today, as well. Their kindness today made a big impact on me.

So I made it through my first con!! I lived two dreams today - I also met an ABSOLUTE LEGEND of a voice actor today, too! With 600+ credits, I almost guarantee you’ve heard their voice 😜
I’ll share that story with yall tomorrow!

Story Time! So I had an appointment with a new-to-me therapist, because mine has bronchitis and I needed to see someone, so I got in to see another one.
This new therapist told me they pegged me as autistic within the first 3 minutes of meeting me, without me saying a word about it, LMAO.
Anybody been called out lately? Just me??

I know I don’t post as much as I “should” but I had to share this! For the last several weeks, I have been walking more trying to increase my physical endurance. (For context, I am disabled and my mobility and endurance are severely limited.)
I’ve also been training to walk a 1 mile race in August, to set a goal to work towards. Well during my training workout walk, I decided to push a little more and I did the mile! I did the thing!!! While there was a a lot of pain, it was a manageable and I made it through 😅 💪🏼

August 10th is the race, and while I won’t be breaking any speed records, I will be hoping to set a personal best in this current body, and that’s good enough for me 😊

Yall. I am not above using my socials to call out something silly or even absurd a company does.
Tell me why in the world would SHEFIT advertise the absolute hecc out of their Memorial Day sale, a military holiday…..and not extend the discount code in a way that also allows the military and teacher discount to be applied?
How out of touch with reality does a company have to be to say, “Let’s have an exclusive coupon code, for a military holiday, completely NOT combinable with the military discount!”
