That concludes my wave of daily reuploads of all my original montages, to this date, on the official Dropshock YouTube channel! Now that I've caught up with the backlog of premade montages, it's just a matter of me continuing to put more of these together from the even bigger backlog of video clips that I've been sitting on and then rolling them out when they're ready. It takes me a lot of time, video editing research and especially love to put these together, so I cannot guarantee a consistent upload schedule. Although I'm very much still learning how to use my video editing tools, I have a lot of fun with both putting these together and learning how to use video editing software to share these montages with y'all.

I'm looking forward to uploading my next one!

Alright, so good news is that I managed to recover my original files for all of my montages that I had originally thought I had lost completely. That's basically what kick-started my interest in attempting to restore lost quality in my videos.

However, no matter how I processed the video, there's only so much quality that can actually be recovered. I was completely dissatisfied with the overall final quality. Although the interpolated framerate from 30 to 60 made a significant improvement... the image still showed enough blurriness and smudged colors to take away from the improved visual fidelity the FPS boost provided. Overall, I'm still glad I took the time to practice video restoration, but I simply lost too much quality that attempting to restore it eventually yielded little to no improvements for the amount of processing power and time it required.

Nevertheless, moving forward, I'll be RE-uploading all of my original montages that I recovered in the upcoming days, all in their original 1080p/60FPS format. No upscale or restoration required!

Dropshock

Just created a dedicated YouTube channel for these gaming shenanigans under an official Dropshock account! Last channel was a prototype being shared under a different account, but seeing how we're growing I decided to make Dropshock it's own dedicated and independently managed account!

I'll be re-uploading my videos soon in these upcoming days, just felt like sharing this update with y'all.

Just a quick update:

I know it's been quiet here for the past week. I'm taking an extended hiatus to work on my mental health. I've hit a very rough patch in my life recently so I need to take some time to myself to disconnect, surround myself with my family and friends so I can heal up.

I'll be back, hopefully soon.
