If you’ve been around here a second, you’ll know I’m not an early morning person, so having grab-and-go breakfasts are essential. This is my go-to winter breakfast. I love eating something warm first thing in the morning...yes...I heat up my overnight oats because, honestly, mushy cold cereal is not my jam. I love using these glass mason jars because they prevent spills and are easy to heat up. 1 minute in the microwave and dig in. ⠀

So here are the details...⠀
1️⃣ This contains rolled oats, cinnamon, raisins, blueberries, pecans, maple syrup, and milk. The best part is that it’s so versatile. Add whatever sounds good...I’ve used peanut butter, pumpkin, bananas, different kinds of nuts and seeds, sometimes honey. Possibilities are endless. ⠀
2️⃣ Generally I don’t measure unless I have to for a recipe and I really only used the measuring cup here to scoop out of the narrow container, but I did 1/2 cup of raw oats and made sure the milk was just about covering the contents of the jar. The rest of the amounts of stuff is preference.⠀
3️⃣ These are for my husband and myself, 2 for him 2 for me, but honestly I could eat the same breakfast more days I’m a row than any other meal. Make the amount that works for you.⠀
4️⃣ My intention behind these videos is to give you lunch and meal ideas, while saving you time. I want to try to simplify feeding yourself and your family during the week. Take what works for you and leave the rest. ⠀
