We are happy to announce our 4th release on Bare Bones Wax is out now at all good record shops (and probably some bad ones!). We also have a few copies left that come with exclusive stickers if you would like to support the label and buy direct.

Underground house legend Lil’ Mark supplies the A1 track “Bare 2 The Bone”. Twisted synths, tough beats and a killer bassline drive this track so it will kill any dancefloor. Carlo Gambino returns to B*W for the second time with “Satchmo”. Lush licks, deep beats and a spoken vocal give a warm deep workout in his unique style.

On the flip Romanian producer Dragosh makes his debut on the label with “Fresh Fruit”. Having released on labels such as Curtea Veche, Desolat and Memoria you can expect a deep minimal offering with nice interwoven vocals for a modern sound. The final track on the package comes from the Italian duo, Heat Alliance. “Morning Light” has a classic feel with uplifting vocals, warm pads and synths complimented by a deep funky bassline. The result gives the release four tracks that encompass four very different styles, just as we believe a VA release should be!

Roll up, roll up! Here comes release number 4 and we’re happy to announce we now have a limited number of upfront copies before the full release on the 27th June (clips on Soundcloud and blog, link in the bio). We are also offering a couple of bundle options with a T-Shirt, stickers and the previous release if you missed it. There are four T-Shirt designs as per the picture to pick from in most sizes (Fair Wear Foundation FWF|PeTA-approved Vegan|OEKO-TEX® Standard 100).

We will be adding these to Discogs / Band Camp too, but it will be more expensive. If you would like a copy and would like to deal direct with (and support) the label then these are the options on a first come, first served basis. We will ship from tomorrow. Here are the options:

For the second in our series of “5 records for”, we’ve enlisted Italian DJ and Producer Flaze. Having just released his “Pleasure EP” on Bare Bones Wax, we thought he would be the ideal candidate to showcase what’s currently in his record bag. In the video the tracks are:
1. Roman Debnar “Lightsdown” is taken from the “X LP” on the Zeitnot label. The LP has 8 other tracks that are also worth checking out.

2. Valerio Vaudan "Gimme A Slice Of Pepperoni" appears on the Just Nostalgia EP on label Steamy Pizza Box. It’s a label we’ve not come across before, so it’s definitely worth keeping an eye out for future releases.

3. Arkady Antsyrev “Classic 1992” appears on label Inermu Wax for their 13th release. There are two other original tracks on the EP along with a remix from James Dexter.

4. Darius Syrossian & Waff - "You Can't Stop The Dance" offers some peak time madness on the excellent Moxy Muzik imprint. Other tracks on the EP come from Lucas Alexander, Rooleh and Fleur Shore.

5. Brawther “Don’t Go” finishes off Flaze’s chart. The track is taken from the Best Of Brawther Vol 1 EP on Back To Life. There are two other tracks on the EP including one of our favourites “VXVXVX” so its well worth a listen.
