The Multi-Modal Mobility Morphobot, or M4 for short can make decisions for itself about how best to navigate through a complex environment, choosing what form of locomotion will be most effective based on the terrain ahead of it. It could be used to navigate unknown remote terrains and potentially revolutionize space exploration.
