This food is known as "Kuyog" or Shellfish, and it is a small, shiny black-brown colored river shellfish found only in the town of CARAGA Davao Oriental. Cooked with only a little water and salt or (your preference) the shellfish is unique to the Mandaya people and is frequently prepared for relatives or friends who visit the town.
