We would like to thank the community of dipaleseng for coming together in numbers and displaying the highest discipline and moral in addressing the our common enemy unemployment which has persisted for more than a decade through consultation with the municipality mayor also known as khethiwe , hoping for a positive response.

Few weeks ago one of the community members of dipaleseng on his way to town while walking saw plus minus 6 children working for Douglas Van Der osthusen the truck owner next to pietsand . Last week I saw them again and went to enquire about the matter if the allegations were true or unfounded , The response we got was different as we were told that these children go there every day to play with bikes together with the children of the owner then sometimes they assist with the housekeeping voluntary and other chores them later when they go to their homes they ask for pocket money which he gives them R50 each sometimes so he says they're not employees they are friends of his children . The owner says he blames the parents of these children by not looking after their kids , he will not be in this situation when it looks like he is practising child labour . So I want to hear from the community should we be alive him

Today we had an opportunity to participate in the community meeting at ridge view , it's a bad situation that community is facing during this lockdown abana gesi , abana parrafin and no stoves .
