“When you create something, the worst thing you can do is think about what sounds are currently the most fashionable and trending. Better think about the fact that each of us harmonizes with different types of noise, frequencies and textures of sound. Listen to what impresses you and eventually you will understand the right way to develop your own sound. I don't think it matters which tools you will use for this - software or hardware.”

“I started with Sylenth because I didn't have a lot of money for it. But I learned to create certain sounds based on the sound of different musicians that I liked. And I liked The Knife, Hudson Mohawke and Hans Zimmer, so I tried to understand how they create their sound. Alison Wonderland, a producer from Los Angeles, quickly became a famous DJ thanks to her masterful, versatile and energetic sets. Last year she broke into the Top 100 from DJ Mag and her new album is coming out very soon, which should also be quite promising.

Starting her musical career as a cellist at the Sydney Youth Opera, Alison Wonderland played bass in rock bands. Before gaining national recognition, she was also noted for taking second place at the Can Can DJ competition, organized by EMI itself in 2011. It is logical that after that the giant label immediately signed a contract with her, which made a huge boost for her career.

As an aspiring producer, she released the CD Welcome to Wonderland, and a year later focused on recording her own material inspired by electronic bands such as the Swedish duo The Knife. Three years later, Wonderland presented its debut synthpop album Run, which reached number one on the Billboard charts.
