Etche is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Rivers State , Nigeria , named after the Etche ( Echie) people of Southern Nigeria. The Etche are Igbo people and they speak Igbo language. They also inhabit Omuma LGA; Etche/Omuma is a National Assembly constituency

Etche People are a subgroup of Igbo people who migrated from Arochukwu and settled in Etche around 18th century. The rational behind their denial of Igbo identity was the tremendous effect of the Civil War on Igbo people. Etche people speak Igboid language, which is also a branch or dialect of Igbo language

The lifestyle of Etche is a simple one. The people are mostly farmers and fishermen, and they live off the land. The pace of life is slow and relaxed, and there is a strong sense of community. The people of Etche are known for their hospitality and their willingness to help others.

Etche communities include Akwu/Obuor , Chokocho, Chokota, Egwi, Afara, Mba, Ikwerengwo , Okehi, Ulakwo , Umuakonu, Umuebulu, Umuechem , egbeke Igbodo the ancestral home of Etche (Igbodo is made up o the following communities; Umuohiaukwu, Umuusharam, Umuoga, Okonocho, Umuine, Umudi, Umunkwa, Umuohie, Amaku, Obibi, Ezeleaka, Umuisi]

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Benin people are becoming restless

So the The Igbo word odogwu means "a strong man" or "a man of charisma and prowess". It can also refer to a powerful and influential man, or the leader of warriors. Even a poor man can earn the title of odogwu if he does great things.

Ada is the first daughter of an Igbo man and they have majestic name like Adaora,Adaaku,Adamma and so on..

And The Ika people are found primarily in Delta State Nigeria & Edo State, they are a subgroup to the Igbo ethnic group. The Ika people have two(2) Local Governments (Ika South and Ika North East Local Government Areas) in Delta State, and are also indigenous to Igbanke, Ekpon and other communities of Orhionmwon, Uhunmwonde and Igueben Local Government Areas in Edo State. They speak Ika dialects such as; Agbor, Awu(spoken in Abavo), Owa, Ede, Ute, Idumesah, Owerre, Ekpon, Mbiri, Igbanke. Ika dialect was classified by linguists under the Igboid cluster of languages. The standard form of Ika dialect is said to be the Agbor and Ekpon dialects of the Igbo language.

We are here to educate those with dilapidated brain so that they can have a conducive environment to reason like human beings.

When someone with limited education speaks, they often spread hate and unacceptable words.

To identify if a place is truly Igbo, look for these six signs:

1. Four market days: Eke, Orie, Afo, Nkwo
2. Town and village names reflect Igbo culture
3. Most children's names start with "Chi"
4. Customs and traditions align with Igbo practices
5. Traditional Igbo food is commonly consumed
6. Town and village names match those in other Igbo states

If you find all these characteristics, you can confidently say the place is Igboland. regardless of what others may claim.
