This song was written around 2018 in Sydney, Australia. The whole concept came about when I expressed my feeling about wanting to transcribe Syabru music of the Himalayas.
So Sonam and I embarked on a creative journey and the outcome is this song.
On this video though, we play this song as a Trio for the first time opening for my dear friend Tsering Lama and his band "On Your Mark" on his event in Boudha.

Ashesh Dangol aka Himalayan Hendrix rock the stage with his one hour performance in America's one of the best Blues Festival "Best Dam Blues Festival" in Thiensville, Wisconsin, USA representing Nepal on September 16th 2023.

The beautiful stage next to the Milwaukee River and the Blues fans of Thiensville, Wisconsin has heard the Nepali Blues for the first time. More than 20 amazing bands has participated in the 2 days Festival.

International award winning Blues Artist Ashesh has headlined many Music Festivals in Europe and was titled "Himalayan Hendrix " by the Norwegian and German Media in 2010.

On the foothills of the Himalayas lies the ancient city Kathmandu Valley, the capital city of Nepal. Rich in tradition, culture, heritage, history and home to 7 UNESCO world heritage sites.
But once this city was more likely known for the best ma*****na available and also as the Ma*****na Paradise among the people all over the globe especially for the Hippies. Bustling with Hashish production as there were no restrictions or any legal barriers during those time for ma*****na in Nepal. Locally known as ‘Gaanja’ , any one could get them easily. Especially there were many government approved shops, cafes and restaurant that provided Gaanja on demand.
