CODE4UKRAINE: 3-4 march Hackathon EINDHOVEN & ONLINE

A huge, international hackathon in which young people from Eindhoven University of Technology want to jointly develop creative tools that have a real impact on people's lives. They are already accepting applications from participants from absolutely all over the world!

The competition will be introduced by lectures by volunteers who worked at the border, an OSCE representative and a citizen of Ukraine - Oleksandr Gladkyy. The lectures taking place as part of the competition will aim to present the problems plaguing people fleeing the war today. Thanks to this, the projects that will be born are to really help! After listening to the speakers, the participants will start working in groups on solutions that would help the victims of the conflict.

In the meantime, young people will conduct a technology workshop as well as a panel with Artem Nikulchenko on the potential of technology in the current situation. The entire night of the competition will be devoted to programming or designing solutions. On the second day after the closing of the applications, the University will announce the winners.

The hackathon is non-profit and the fruit of the participants' labor will be available for general use under open-source. All information is available at: https://lnkd.in/e_5rS7FU

North East Europe Regional Cluster is organising a Webinar for DIHs, research institutes, agriculture advisors and policy makers, as well as other relevant stakeholders in the region. The event will feature as invited speaker Aivars Lapins, the Latvian representative in the Agriculture and Fisheries Committees of the OECD, who will talk about the Digitalisation of agriculture – global perspective of the region. The Webinar will include presentation from the innovation experiments in the region, describing their chievements and results, presentations from DIHs in the region to promote their latest’s achievements and news!

DIH Agro Poland is looking for partners for cooperation in the implementation of projects in the and open calls!

From today onwards, we are launching our and Open Call! The goal of this Open Call is to expand our network of DIHs across Europe & consolidating them as orchestrators of the digital transformation of the EU Agricultural sector.

Therefore we are looking forward to receive proposals that strove to foster collaboration among similar or different profiles (Digital Innovation Hubs, Competence Centres, Technology providers, SMEs, Farmers, etc) to maximise and extend the application of the DIH’s services into new innovation experiments.

SmartAgriHubs will assign up to 5,000,000€ funding to the RESTART and EXPAND open calls, addressing Digital Innovation Hubs that are supporting diverse stakeholders in the agri-food economy and specifically SMEs as drivers for digital innovation.
