Carelon Global Solutions to Create More Jobs for Ilonggos including PWDs
Carelon Global Solutions Philippines, a BPO specializing in contact centers and clinical nurse operations, announced plans to significantly expand its workforce in Iloilo City. This move is expected to generate numerous job opportunities for Ilonggos.
Nicki Agcaoili, Carelon Global Solutions Philippines vice president and chief country executive (in video), shared the company's growth plans during a recent media briefing. With this expansion, Carelon aspires to become the largest healthcare provider BPO in Western Visayas.
Judy Murillo, Carelon's regional head for Western Visayas, said that the company is committed to inclusivity and provides employment opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and fresh graduates. To ensure a supportive work environment, the company has invested in comprehensive training, including sign language classes for both support staff and employees who interact with PWD colleagues.
Agcaoili emphasized that the company's growth aligns with the region's vision of becoming the global Healthcare Information and Management Services (HIMS) capital by 2028.
