VICE PRESIDENT ATTENDS LAUNCHING OF JUBA COUNTY YOUTH CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM

Thursday 11th January 2024;
The Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan HE Prof. James Wani Igga, attended one day Capacity Building Program organised by the Youth Union of Juba County.
The Training program concentrated on Lectures on Rural Development.

In his opening remarks, HE Vice President encouraged youth to develop our rural areas through Community Development Programs by organising themselves into community base organization. Vice President Igga advice the youth to embarked on self help activities.

The Youth Program was organised under the auspices of Hon. Cirisio Zakaria Lado, State Minister of Education and Instruction, Central Equatoria State. The Minister launched the scholarship to 49 number of youth to undergo training in Islamic University of South Sudan for two months.

The Youth Chairman of Juba County Emmanuel Loku Sule acknowledged the great support moral and material from HE Vice President Wani Igga and his unwavering support at all times to the youth. Emmanuel Loku thanked the Commissioner of Juba County Hon. Eng. Charles Joseph Wani and also congratulated his Executive Committee as well as the Payam Youth Leaders for their continued support.

The Program was attende by National as well as state government senior officials. Prof. Dr. Wani Sule presented very important lectures on the role of Rural Development by the Community.
