Haiku Tuesday’s! (One of these days)

Although it’s not done
The world together we built
Perfect in my eyes

All of a sudden
There arise a sudden chill
When you realize

The foundation brought
To the table from myself
Cracked and discarded

The roof that I brought
Glued together spare parts just
Match only garbage

“Use your living room”
I guess that we spoke to soon
It’s all open space

Or my favorite
“Maybe we’ll use my basement”
The maybe pile, k

My kitchen, my bath
Every garage I had
Sideline or just trash

When I looked, “our place”
Matched and even fit in place
As bright as your smile

Didn’t match my face
For when I would step away
And glimpse discard pile

I noticed my roof
Or the foundation I thought
I could add, all pasted

The piles of maybes
open space that made me, me
All sidelined for trash

So when you asked me
How come I don’t look happy
Through my poker face

The world though it’s grand
I concede my only hand
Your pieces I place

Outside doesn’t clash
The whole interior match
And fit perfectly

Trash pile to me
A mirror to be, clearly
I see, All.... of..... Me....
