It was a joy to photograph my beautiful friend Meghana Kulkarni on the eve of the first sale of Sumegha, a company she started with the elegant Sunanda Mitra. Sumegha sources handcrafted saris, dupattas, lehengas and silver jewelry from artisans in India. Details of their sale are in the last picture. Come support women entrepreneurs and artisans of India this weekend.

Why create the space for men? Because she wishes to enable men to emote about their poignant experiences in a safe space!
