Business is business.

I received an apology from Anthony at Colab Media thanking me for my patience on the past video edits and expressing his apologies on how long it took to get me paid. He also acknowledged that I did show up on time, was professional and delivered my edits in a timely manner. He ended his apologies by expressing that it was not a fair thing for him to do.

Because of this, I have accepted his apologies and decided to remove my previous post.

I do not hold grudges on Anthony and wish him the best of luck with whatever he sets off to do.

Hope my followers enjoyed the drama :-)

Want to break your brain for a few hours?
Be creative for years non stop then try coding in GML (similar to JavaScript)

The switch the brain needs to make is similar to switching between two new languages you have just learned. It is not automatic.

In fact, it goes against your intuition.
Although to solve problems you have to be creative, being creative alone won't help you solve mathematical problems without knowing mathematics. In this case GML.

I have to say I love programming though.

This video is to showcase The 3 E's Song I wrote, sang and produced.
The song was created to be played in the video I produced for the Thurston County Chamber for their "A Night on the Town" event.

Unfortunately due to technical issues during the event, the song was cut off right as it started playing.

The Kevan Carter Band as MainBass, helped with the song by providing a very sweet guitar lead and a very atmospheric synth pads that added a sexy and romantic vibe to the score. Kevan Carter also played Jones in the video alongside his wife Bedez Burnette Carter , who played Cheryl. I couldn't forget to mention our talented and hilarious bartender Scott Tompkins .

This version is the official song version. The version played in the full promo was changed to be played as a score in the video.

This song was basically invented while chatting with my partner Neeches Parker . While in the kitchen having a drink or gathering snakcs we began chatting about the 3 E's and next thing you know the hook was invented.

I also printed a base for a 2 liter bottle but it wasn't printed thick enough to deal with a child XD

Today is all about Storyboarding for my next big project.
I'm trying a new Aí tool called Katalist Ai.
So far here's what I've learned:
- The script to storyboard feature helps with very short scripts.
- Besides creating realistic images, it is very limited in creating multiple characters
- I find myself tinkering with the prompts for a long time before getting an image that makes sense to the scene.
In the end it isn't saving me time. Not sure this is worth it.

I'm gonna try it one more time but may go back to drawing it by hand using the Storyboarder app for Windows.

I think I may have found a platform that works better for me than Facebook.
On Reddit I get thousands of views on my posts. Lots of comments and likes.
On Facebook I get less than 10 views, 2 likes and no comments.

My Story

It all started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where I was born and raised. Since I was a little kid I enjoyed drawing, music and dancing. I was obviously going to become an artist. I just didn’t know when. As a teenager I got into making music and started making my first songs using samples and a computer. I even ventured as a DJ for private parties, but didn’t move forward with art until I started playing drums at the age of 22. From there, I went to college for Graphic Design and Media Arts and started painting. In my mid 30s I decided to learn Video Production but it wasn’t until I was 37 that I began singing. Since I started learning about media production, I have produced hundreds of videos, written over 100 scripts, made dozens of private videos such as music videos, commercials and weddings, have written over 30 songs and have just released my first album. Now, I am a Full On Artist aka an Artist of many trades. Besides all the skills I have learned in life, I am really a Music & Video producer, an Audio Engineer, a Drummer and Singer, a Painter and Illustrator, a Voice Over Artist, a Journalist and Script writer, and Photographer and Graphic Designer. Just to name a few things that help me pay the bills. The rest is yet to be written cause the future has yet to come.
