Happy !!! I’ve been soooo insanely busy lately, so I apologize for the radio silence (been working really hard on content though, so more will be coming soon!)~ But I just wanted to pop in to share this wig tutorial I’ve been working on for the last few months for this years Cosplay Tutorial Challenge!! I genuinely hope this was helpful for at least one person out there and if even one person can make their wig a lil crazier because of this, then my mission is complete 🫡💕

✂️ Materials & Tools Needed ✂️
- Wig (Mine is from Arda Wigs!)
- Scissors
- Marker
- X-acto Knife
- Batting
- Fabric Dye
- Tinfoil & Duct Tape or Clay
- Plastic Wrap
- Masking Tape or Painters Tape
- 2 mm EVA Foam
- Contact Cement
- Foam Sealant of choice (I’m using Plasti Dip!)
- Tacky Glue (or a similar clear craft glue)
- Hairspray (I’m using Got 2b Glued!)
- Hot Glue
- Heat Gun
- Steamer (A blow dryer and a spray bottle is a great alternative!)
- Airbrush (Optional)

Happy New Year gang!!! 🥳💕 I wanted my first post of 2024 to be my completed Junker Queen tank top since I’m so damn excited for this cos and hyped to hopefully wear her lots this year!!!! 😩👑💙 I’m overall pretty happy with how this turned out, and once I cut away the extra silicone peeking out from the breast plate, the tank top should act as a seamless transition between the boobas and the muscles!! ✨ The only thing I’m feeling a bit iffy on is my decision to add extra inches to the back of the arms 🫣 I did this to ensure you can’t see where the breast plate and muscles connect when I move my arms forward and to ensure that it’s overall covered, but appearance wise idk how I feel!! 😩

WOWZIE sorry it took so long to get part 3 of my making of Junker Queen series out!!! I was pretty sick which heavily slowed down editing and unfortunately also led me to use the dumb AI voice since I frankly still sound congested!! 🤧😩 But anyways, with the tank top finally ✨ DONE ✨ I’m now moving onto the white shirt that goes over top, using even more fabric provided by Cosplay Fabrics!! 🫶 The main shirt should be a much shorter (one video) endeavor since it’s not nearly as complex as this tank top ended up being!! 😅

Sorry for posting at almost 9PM omg, I finally got settled down for the night and wanted to show off my booth for Lake Tahoe Comic Con before officially logging off for bed!! 😴 I’ll have some of my Spectra pieces tomorrow for my table so it’s not so bare, just didn’t wanna leave any pieces over night 🫣 But I can’t wait to see everyone this weekend, come swing by my booth (booth number 111!) or come catch me at the cosplay contests!! I’ll be judging both the adult and children’s cosplay contests so come cheer on everyone and see the amazing work of all the contestants!! :D 💚

Haven’t been feeling the most energetic lately, but I did want to share some patterns I did manage to make for Junker Queens legs last week!!🦵 I know it’s not the most exciting thing in the world, but pattern making is one of my favorite parts, so I figured I’d share for any of my other pattern enjoyers!! Hopefully I can get this looking something like Junker Queen when my energy levels are up and my pain levels are down!! 😅

❗️I’m so excited to finally announce that I’ll be a guest at Lake Tahoe Comic Con on September 23rd and 24th!!! 🥳❗️ I’ll be helping judge the cosplay contests (yes, PLURAL! The adult cosplay contest will be on Saturday, the 23rd at 4PM and the kids cosplay contest will be on Sunday, the 24th at 3PM!), selling prints and stickers at my booth, and possibly running a panel!! 🔥 “True power, the divine right to rule, is something you’re born with.” 🔥

Ahhhhh it’s so rewarding finally having Azula done!!! 😭🫶 This cosplay was an absolute pain to put it lightly, but I learned SO much!! This cosplay included my first time designing my own embroidery machine file and using a proper embroidery machine, my first time 3D modeling something in over 4 years (I took a CAD class in high school but that’s about as far as my knowledge goes lol!), my first time 3D printing something in general, and only my second time making armor!! I’m also so insanely proud of the wig, I don’t consider wig styling my strong suit at all but I’ve gotten so much better in the past few years and I can’t wait to see how I can continue to improve!! Seeing improvement between my cosplays genuinely makes all this crafting worth it!! 🥹❤️🫶

Eeeee I’m so excited to finally be working on Junker Queen after being in Azula hell for what felt like forever!!! 👑🔧💙😭🫶 I’ve been working on the weapon patterns for awhile now, and it’s so rewarding seeing everything printed out to scale after staring at these patterns on a screen for hours on end!! Hoping to get a lot done today and tomorrow since I have chemo on Saturday and am def gonna need the day off, so wish me luck, gamers~ 🫡 (Also lots of Azula pics will be coming soon!!! So don’t worry, I’ll be showing off lots of the Fire Nation girlie in the coming weeks!! 🔥)

Azula…is…FINISHED!!!!!!! 🔥🐉 Apologies if everything isn’t perfectly straight/isn’t zipped up all the way in some places, I just quickly threw everything on to make sure my method of attaching the armor worked!! And miss thang needs a good iron too so this pic will def be deleted in a few days 😵‍💫 I’m currently on the road with my boyfriend headed to and I’ll be there tomorrow just walking around and also in the cosplay contest later on in the day!!! I’ll be in my full, finished Azula cosplay, and my boyfriend will be Scott Pilgrim to celebrate the anime trailer!! 🥳 If you see either of us walking around, please don’t hesitate to say hi!! Especially after missing out on Silver Ave Comic Con, I’ve got some catching up to do!! 😅

Aaaaa I’ve got some really exciting things coming up soon, one of which I’m not sure I can talk about yet, but the one thing I -can- talk about is the fact that a very special someone is moving in with me next week, my boyfriend!!!╰(*´︶`*)╯💕 I know it’s probably not very exciting for anyone else, but I’m soooo excited to finally no longer be in a long distance relationship after almost 2 years!! 🥹🫶 The thing I’m not sure I can talk about yet should hopefully be finalized soon once I sign the contracts, and I’m so excited to share it with all of you, especially since it’s cosplay related!! 😀
