Leave no scraps.

A few weeks have passed since I've finished all my college courses. I spent a few (2) weeks enjoying my newfound liberation and sudden supply of free time through gaming and being a sloth. That was satisfied very quickly.

Last week, I took the time to evaluate what I’ve been doing career-wise, specifically on my content. It re-ignited a strong desire to do more and to build bigger things. I spent days watching and listening how to better my craft, then uninstalled YouTube to stop myself from over-analyzing and just go do.

Here’s a simplified plan for the following months:

1. Create a free online course to promote my mailing list.

2. Start uploading long-form content again.

3. Convert my content scripts to short, digestible content for my mailing list

4. Utilize what audience I already have to cross-promote all of these platforms.

5. Scale

Develop an efficient content pipeline, then monetize. Every action must leave no scraps.

Good day! We are 4th year undergraduate students from De La Salle University, currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science, with a specialization in Software Technology. Our study, titled "Pinoybaiting Videos and Filipino Audiences: A Computational Analysis of User Interactions Over Time," aims to unravel the dynamics of Filipino engagement with Pinoybaiting content on YouTube.

🔍 OBJECTIVE: We seek to take a computational approach in analyzing YouTube user interactions over time, with a focus on comments, likes, and views. A total of 10,000 comments will be annotated manually to assist with the model training and testing.

📁 TASK OVERVIEW:
◦ Participants will receive a Google sheet containing 250 - 500 comments to manually annotate, along with an annotation guide for reference.
◦ Manual annotation only involves choosing from a predetermined set of categories provided by the researchers.
◦ Finish the task within the provided timeframe to be eligible for our raffle.

Entering the workforce is such a humbling experience. I regularly have to combat impostor syndrome due to the sheer technical difficulty of the tasks, and I see how quickly the pros can handle it. The opportunity to work alongside those with 10+ years of experience in the field has been incredibly enlightening and motivating. It pushes me to learn and grow at an accelerated pace and reminds me that expertise is gained through time and perseverance.
