The Ashy Wood Pigeon - Exhibits behavior typical of many pigeon species, characterized by its relatively shy and elusive nature. This bird, primarily found in the forested regions of the Himalayas and parts of Southeast Asia, prefers dense woodlands and high-altitude coniferous forests, often ranging from 1800 to 3400 meters above sea level. Ashy Wood Pigeons are social creatures, usually seen in pairs or small flocks, especially when feeding on a diet predominantly consisting of seeds, fruits, and occasionally invertebrates.
