Well here it is, the end of the road, our series is complete. We could think of no better way to wrap up this musical journey that with the final track from Cardiff glam-punk giants, Small Miracles and their incredible track, Bad Stars.
Thank you to everyone who's kept up with us over the past few months, it's been a pleasure sharing these truly amazing performances and watching these bands grow in the real world, through a whirlwind of a festival season.
We couldn't have done it without The Westgate Hotel, Wide Island Films, Record One, Jon Greening (Gwyrdd Studios) and of course Horizons / Gorwelion so thank you all for your hard work and support.

We're coming to the end of a fantastic run of music from some truly exceptional rising Welsh musicians, thank you to everyone who's stuck with us so far.

WESTGATE SESSIONS
The final instalment from postrock band Aaronson. The title track from their recently released album ‘The Great Swells That Carry Us Will Pull Us Under’

Horizons / Gorwelion funded the project via their Launchpad scheme, an annual initiative to support grassroots music in Wales.

It's been a busy week for Joe Kelly & The Royal Pharmacy with their Green Man Festival debut, a headline slot at Brecon Jazz Festival and a return to the ever-expanding world of Between The Trees Festival this weekend.
It seems only fitting then, for us to share with you their third and final track from our most recent sessions at The Westgate Hotel.
'Holding On' is a track from the band's forthcoming album 'Cast Me Down' which, along with the rest of the sessions was filmed and recorded by Wide Island Films and Record One with mixing duties falling in the more than capable hands of @Jon Greening (Gwyrdd Studios).
All of these tracks could not have been made without the support and funding from Horizons / Gorwelion and their Launchpad Scheme.

As the series draws.to a close, we have one last song to share from Cardiff's Dan's People who are currently making waves on the South Wales scene. 'Permanent Sabbatical gives us another side of the band and really shows off what can be expected from the live show.

After a brief hiatus, we return to our weekly sessions with Usk based singer-songwriter Katielou and her track, 'Embers' from her much anticipated debut album 'Wildfires'
The entire series of tracks were recorded live on a Saturday in April at The Westgate Hotel by Wide Island Films.
Sound was recorded on the day by Record One and mixed by @Jon Greening at Gwyrdd Studios.
The project was made possible by funding from @Horizons / Gorwelion and their annual Launchpad scheme.
