This is Togo. He's the lesser-known sled dog who helped save an entire Alaskan town in 1925. Alaska was swept with a deadly sickness called diphtheria. It badly threatened over 10,000 people in Nome. They urgently needed medicine, called antitoxin, to save them. The mission was to deliver the cure through the Coldest and most dangerous paths about a distance of 1120 miles (1800 kilometers) within five days. However, the dog that did the most difficult part of the work was Togo who crossed the longest distance of 260 miles (418 kilometers). This is the story of a real-life superhero dog.

This sweet little dog was abused, neglected and abandoned at a hotel, he just wandered around not sure where he's supposed to be. I couldn't help myself I started buying him treats and let him in the room and now he decided he wants to stay that he likes it here and loves us, so with that being said, please help me welcome Buddy Adams to our little family.🥲🥰

I said goodbye to Mika who spent almost 15 years with me.
We travelled all over Europe together in Van, and from the Caribbean to the South Pacific Ocean by our sailing boat for 4 years.
She had travelled for 19 countries!!
Now she starts on a new adventure trip again.

My handsome boy walked over the rainbow bridge yesterday (Jan. 19th). He was only 6 and got dealt the crappy end of life when he was born. He was born with multiple birth defects like small kidneys, ectopic uterers, bladder the size of a dime (1cm) heart murmur, ect. I always knew he wouldn’t live to the normal age but it doesn’t make it any easier. Hug your furbaby’s for me today and hug them a little tighter. I feel lost without her. I wanted to share this on here since I shared her birthday less than a month ago on here. Enjoy the time you have with them, it’s never enough🤍💔💔

"As I was looking on Facebook, I saw the ad for this dog. Phobic, brutally abused, eating wood and tied up in a yard. His man wanted him "wild" to scare the thieves!!... After the death of my dog that we were together for 17 years and while I had said I would not get another animal, today he came into my life. As soon as I put him in the car he sat on my son's lap and fell asleep. I took this picture to share and show how much all creatures need love.... How much did he need that hug?! From today on we are family... Let's go home! "

My sweet girl Sadie. Adopted her from the San Antonio humane society in May of 2011. She was almost 13. She passed this last Sunday and I wasn’t ready. Never saw the signs she would be close to going until the morning we had to bring her to the emergency vet. This is the hardest loss I’ve ever had. 💔
