I share my life experiences thru my music because I want you to leave with something of value .. so I could never speak on something I haven’t done, ain’t no value in dat!

I was making sales at 18 but I wasn’t a CEO/President until I got my LLC two years later .. moral of the story, there is no better time to start than now!

I look back and I’m glad I started early cuz I promise life lessons taught me better than any class I ever took ..

My best advice is just do it! The universe wants you to win, it’s all about your perspective.. I did it without a business degree, no business loan or any outside investors & without any prior knowledge of how to run a business.. so if I can do it, I know you can bruh!

Most businesses don’t make it past the 5 year mark but that’s because they give up after a consistent loss of profits .. seeing losses made me hustle harder, ive always had at least 3-4 side hustles if my main wasn’t paying the bills .. from there, i flipped my profits & invested most of it back into myself & my main business .. Today, I give thanks for year 11 of Templeofzen!

- A lil story, i was 18 when I started my locs and before then I never had long hair .. people are naturally curious and even when I stayed in Cuba for a while, i had people stopping me for conversations and I always took the time to chat w/ them about my culture and theirs ..

Rastafari is embedded within New Orleans so the culture had a place in my heart .. on the surface, I loved the style but on a deeper level, it taught me that a positive mind solves problems.

New Orleans is the type of city where too many mistakes WILL get you murked so you either stay out the way or stay alert .. i chose to stay alert .. I’ll never forget the day one of my cousins wanted to sell me a choppa (draco).. I was 19 .. I was running the streets soon as I bought my first car and he jus wanted me to stay safe .. I always had finesse so I never needed it besides target practice ..

being Rasta is about being strong spiritually, physically & mentally and when you embrace Rastafari you embrace wisdom. As a Yung lion, you follow the Generals until you become one .. When your time is called, you do not follow, you cannot fail, you lead the pack. Everybody can’t be the General so to become one you gotta do whatever it takes to create your reality.

At the time I was Yung but i always had that fire in me .. Fast forward to now and that wisdom grows my fire everyday .. Even though I am no longer strictly Rasta, I was a strict Rasta for years and most of the principles still resonate w/ me .. the religious aspects of it killed it for me & I started seeing how people become victim to a savior complex, expecting someone to save them .. like I said, everyone doesn’t become a general .. so I kept the real & tossed the fake and kept building .. the marathon continues ..

Had to test to smoke bombs to make sure we able to hold them while burning. Safe to say yea but def gotta hold ya breath, I smelled like str8 fireworks after 😂

Funny enuff the instructions on the box was dramatic asf, talmbout “set on ground, light fuse and run” lmao it was not that serious .. if you inhale the fumes tho you prolly lose like 8hrs off yur lifespan no cap 😭😭
