Church of St. Lawrence

The church was built in the first half Fourteenth century.

The medieval temple was entered into the register of Czech monuments.

The church is in the Gothic style. The oldest part of the temple is the presbytery.

The New Town Hall

The building was constructed between years 1902 and 1904 in pseudo-renaissance style according to architect Podhájský´s design.

At hotel " U Beránka " is a plate from 1928, reminding the place, where Dr. Josef Čížek announced the Czechoslovak independence from. Another plates commemorate above all the citizens of Náchod, victims of World War I. and World War II.

🧗‍♂️An attractive rocky ridge of solid sandstone juts out high above the forests and from a distance resembles an organ or a dragon's back.

🧗‍♀️It creates the characteristic silhouette of the Maloskalska landscape.

🧗Previously, the Dry Rocks were called Kantor's Organ, today they are also called the Czech Dolomites.

🧗‍♀️The stone scenery is the result of the shifting of the earth's crust, when the lower layer of sandstone was raised and rotated perpendicular to the earth's surface.

🧗 This is a unique geomorphological location that has no parallels in our country. Dry rocks are popular climbing terrain. It is divided into roughly 20 towers - Hlavní, Sokolí, and others.

🧗 In 1965, the Dry Rocks were declared a national natural monument.
