Getting It Back: The Story of Cymande documentary is a wonderful historic capture and just in time for a band that has influenced so much with their mission to create purposeful music.

It was amazing to hear some newer pioneers talk about the influence from a music creator and an ultra-fanboy perspective.

Told with investigative spirit and providing answers to questions that music lovers have been wondering for years - What happened to Cymande?...and all the layers involved in answering that question.

The men in this band are a triumph to be held high for the British Caribbean story.

The Director asks the right questions and through the documentary illuminates for the audience the story of Cymande.
