গত কয়েকদিন ধরে ছাত্র -জনতার পালস্ না বুঝে যে সকল সিনিয়র অফিসাররূপী আওয়ামী গুন্ডারা ছাত্রলীগের সাথে আঁতাত করে পুলিশকে ছাত্র-জনতার বিরুদ্ধে অ্যাকশনে পাঠিয়েছে এবং আমার নিরীহ পুলিশ ভাইদের প্রাণ কেড়ে নিয়েছে তাদের বিচার হবে তো?

পুলিশের নিম্নপদস্থ কেউ কখনোই সাধারণ জনগণের বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়াতে চায় না। বাধ্য করা হয় চেইন অব কমান্ড নামক অদৃশ্য শিকলে বাঁধা থাকার কারণে।

কয়েক জেলায় দেখলাম সিনিয়র অফিসারদের কান্ডজ্ঞানহীন হঠকারী সিদ্ধান্ত এবং পা চাটা অভ্যাসের বশীভূত হয়ে নেয়া অযথা অ্যাকশানে পরিস্থিতি ঘোলাটে হয়েছে। কয়েকজনতো দেখলাম ছাত্রলীগ-যুবলীগের কর্মীর মত বক্তব্য দিছে।

মারার পরে এক জায়গায় স্তুপ করে রাখা। গলাই দড়ি দিয়ে ঝুলিয়ে রাখা, মৃত নারী পুলিশ সদস্য গর্ভবতী ছিল।
সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলার উর্ধতনগণ জবাব দিতে পারবেন?

এখনও থানায় থানায় হামলা হচ্ছে, আগুন দিয়ে থানা পুড়িয়ে দিচ্ছে। কেন পুলিশ এত ঘৃণিত?? এত প্রোগ্রাম এত সেমিনার করে জনগণের পুলিশ বানালেন, সেই জনগণই কেন পুলিশকে এত ঘৃণা করছে? সত্যিকারের জনগণের পুলিশ হতে পারলেতো ১০/১০০ জন দুষ্কৃতিকারী মারতে আসলে ১০০/১০০০ জন সাধারণ জনগণ ঢাল হয়ে দাড়াবার কথা।

আপনাদের মধ্যে হাতেগোনা কিছু কুলাঙ্গারের জন্য আমার নিরীহ ভাইয়েরা কেন প্রাণ দিলো??

সেনাবাহিনী জনগণের পালস্ বুঝে সময় উপযোগী সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে এখন হিরো, আর পুলিশের কিছু পা চাটা চামচার কারণে আমরা ভিলেন।

পুলিশের রাজনৈতিক লেজুরবৃত্তি চিরতরে বন্ধ হোক।

কিছু লেখার মত ইচ্ছাই ছিলো না। তবে বন্ধুর জন্য না লিখে পারলাম না।

বন্ধু তুমি তোমার মেধা দিয়েই চিকিৎসক হয়েছো এতে কোন সন্দেহের অবকাশ নেই। আর তোমার মেধায় অর্জিত বিদ্যা তুমি কিভাবে ব্যবহার করবে তা একান্তই তোমার ব্যাপার।

তবুও কিছু কথা বলি। তোমার জন্ম থেকে যতদিন তোমার বাবার অধীনে থেকেছো তোমার সম্পূর্ণ ব্যায়ভার বহন যিনি করেছেন তিনি একজন পুলিশ। তুমি যদি শিওর জেনে থাকো যে তোমার বাবা কোনদিন কোন অন্যায় করেনি তবে এমন আরও লক্ষ্যাধিক পুলিশ বাবা রয়েছেন যারা অন্যায় করে না। তারা পেটের তাগিদে পরিবারের ভরণ-পোষণ মেটাতে চাকুরীটা করে।

অন্যদিকে তোমার যদি মনে হয় তোমার বাবাও পুলিশ হয়ে অন্যায় করেছে, তাহলে সেই বাবার উপার্জিত অর্থে অর্জিত সকল কিছু পরিত্যাগ করো অথবা তোমার পরিবারও যেহেতু পুলিশ পরিবার ছিলো তাহলে সেখান থেকেই প্র্যাকটিসটা শুরু হোক!

পুলিশের নিম্নপদস্থ কেউ জমিদার পরিবার থেকে আসে না। নিম্নবিত্ত পরিবারের সন্তানেরা পেটের তাগিদে মানুষ থেকে পুলিশ হয়ে যায়!!

আসুন, পুলিশকে গালি দেই। পুলিশ আহত নিহত হলে ফেসবুকে আলহামদুলিল্লাহ বলি। মন খুলে গালি দেই। কারন এই পুলিশ রাত তিনটার সময়ও মহাসড়কে আমার আপনার নিরাপত্তায় নিয়োজিত থাকে। তাদের সন্তানদের ঈদের খুশি পা দিয়ে মাড়িয়ে আপনার আমার নিরাপত্তা প্রদান করে। এই পুলিশের কোনো ঈদ আনন্দ নেই। নেই তাদের প্রিয়জনের সাথে ঈদ আনন্দ কাটানোর বাসনা। আপনাকে নিরাপত্তা দেয়াই তাদের প্রতিদিনের ঈদ। তারা রোবট। আসুন তাদের গালি দেই। মন খুলে গালি দেই। তবে সেদিন এই পুলিশ না থাকলে যশোর মাগুড়া মহাসড়েকে এত রাতে শুনশান রাস্তায় আমাদের যে কি হতো তা ভাবতেই গা শিওড়ে ওঠে। এ এস আই আবু তাহের ও তার টিম (কোতোয়ালি মডেল থানা, যশোর)। হ্যাটস অফ ব্রাদার। এমন পুলিশের স্বপ্নই বাংলদেশ দেখে। মানছি সব পুলিশ আবু তাহেরে মত দাইত্বশীল নয়। তবুও যারা দাইত্ববান তাদের প্রসংসা করা ঠিক ততোটাই উচিৎ যতটা আপনি একজন খারাপ পুলিশকে গালি দেন।

ছোট্ট ছেলের আবদার ছিল তার বাবার কাছে। ঈদে বাড়ি আসার সময় তার জন্য সাইকেল কিনে আনতে হবে। বাবা নিমতলীর পেপার দোকানের সামান্য কর্মচারী। হোক সামান্য কর্মী কিন্তু ছেলের কাছে তো বাবা রাজা। মহাপুরুষ।

ঈদের বাড়তি পরিশ্রম, বোনাস আর হয়তো কিছু সঙ্চয় মিলিয়ে ছেলের জন্য কিনেছিলেন এই গোলাপী সাইকেল। তার রাজপুত্র যখন এই সাইকেলে চড়ে সারাবাড়ি দাপিয়ে বেড়াবে বাবার কাছে এরচেয়ে সুন্দর দৃশ্য আর কি হতে পারে! চালাতে চালাতে রাজপুত্র বেল বাজাবে বাবা সরে গিয়ে হাসতে হাসতে জায়গা করে দেবে। মা বিরক্ত হয়ে কপট রাগ করবে হয়তো। সন্তান হাসবে। পৃথিবীর শ্রেষ্ঠ সেই হাসিমুখ।

বাবা মা দুজনেরই একসঙ্গে দেখার কথা ছিলো প্রিয় সন্তানের সেই হাসিমুখ।

কিন্তু মহান সৃষ্টিকর্তা সেটা চাননি বোধহয়। গতকাল ইফতার করে বাসায় ফেরার পর বুকে ব্যাথা ওঠে বাবার। তারপর স্ট্রোক। না ফেরার দেশে চলে যান বাবা।

আজ ভোর রাতের দিকে অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে ঠিকই বাসায় ফেরেন বাবা। গোলাপী সাইকেলটাও সঙ্গে। কিন্তু বাবার আর কখনোই দেখা হবে না সন্তান তার কিনে দিয়ে আসা সাইকেলে চড়ে কিভাবে হাসতে হাসতে গড়িয়ে পড়ছে।
