Burundi 🇧🇮 is a small republic in the heart of the African 🌍continent, very close to the region known as the Great Lakes. The country has a border with the Congo, Tanzania and Rwanda, with a population of almost 9 million inhabitants and hardly an extension of 28,000 kilometers, The population of Burundi is divided into three major ethnic groups: Hutus, Tusti and Twa, mostly Hutu with almost 85% of the population.

The financial hub city of Burundi is Bujumbura , has a population of about 455,000 inhabitants. Buyumbura is the main and largest city of Burundi, located on the banks of the Tanganyika. Toto "The Bassist" Molantoa is one of the most militant bassists in the reggae business. He jammed and played the bass guitar from the beginning of Lucky Dube's shows to the end without showing any fatigue. He usually wore green camouflage attire even if the rest of the band were not wearing the same. As he was playing the bass guitar he also mimicked the bassline on his mouth. He was really exciting to watch. Behind scenes he was the quiet one but on stage he was the man who brought depth into every song with a perfect strum even though he was never stationery while playing that bass guitar. Lucky Dube had the best band members a reggae legend would love to have and they played their musical instruments with excellence. The show goes on.❤💛💚

Richard Siluma Perhaps the most important puzzle in Lucky Phillip Dube's career. Apart from Jamaican Roots Reggae (Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Burning Spear etc etc), the world had Reggae from Ivory Coast (Alpha Blondy, Tiken Jah Fakoly etc etc). But Jamaicans and the world were mesmerised by the kind of Reggae music that Lucky Dube played and they called it "Roots Reggae with a unique international sound". This unique sound was first produced by Richard Siluma in the eighties. Lucky first joined The Love Brothers, a mbaqanga band formed by his cousin Richard Siluma in 1982 as a vocalist.
His first attempt at reggae, Rastas Never Dies (1984), was produced by Richard Siluma utilising the template set by Jimmy Cliff and Peter Tosh. His second album, Think About The Children (1985) the Lucky Dube Roots Reggae unique sound started coming up (The percussions, The Organ sounds and the heavy basslines with 22kani Cele harmonising with Lucky Dube). Subsequent albums like Slave (1987), Together As One (1988) and Prisoner (1989) remain some of the biggest selling albums in South African history and Richard Siluma was at the helm of the production. Richard Siluma also wrote some of the songs in these albums. For example he co-wrote the popular "Remember Me". Dube's sound became a globally recognised reggae as he performed at festivals around the world. Today many artists have played this unique Reggae sound e.g. The Morgan Heritage band from Jamaica. Lucky Dube also introduced the Camouflage gear which is now synonymous with Reggae music and The Rastafari Movement since then.

The Sukuma are a Bantu ethnic group from the southeastern African Great Lakes region. They are the largest ethnic group in Tanzania, with an estimated 10 million members or 16 percent of the country's total population. Sukuma means "north" and refers to "people of the north." The Sukuma refer to themselves as Wasukuma (plural) and Msukuma (singular).

The Sukuma ethnic tribe is known for its daring "Bugobogobo" the snake dance.
