In case you may have missed it, Heather and I just started our first business On The Lake Entertainment. The launch was super successful and we're much busier than expected so we're looking to add some local DJs to our roster. Here are the details...

WHAT WE OFFER
- We take pride in paying our DJs more than any other company
- We do all of the admin and client communication for you
- We do all events but our primary bookings are weddings
- We have gigs to offer and will book you immediately
- We have a great reputation with 5-star reviews

WHAT WE NEED
- DJs who are experienced, professional, versatile and reliable
- Good with people and a positive attitude that aims to please
- Full-time DJs are preferred but part-time will be considered
- Equipment is a bonus, please let us know what you have
- Wedding experience is a bonus

🚨HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT INCOMING🚨

I've now been a professional DJ, Musician and MC for close to a decade. In that time I've been lucky enough to work with some of the biggest companies in Canada, providing entertainment, audio, lighting and expertise for everything from weddings, festivals and fundraisers, to some of the most historic and marquee events in the country.

My Wife Heather has also spent the last decade successfully running and opening several flagship restaurants, companies and event spaces in positions ranging from GM to Vice President.

Collectively we've both spent over 40 years working in the hospitality and customer service industry. Which is why I'm happy to announce that we've decided to start our very own company together... On The Lake Entertainment.

Our goal is to provide the highest quality talent, top-of-the-line equipment and exceptional live experiences to Hamilton, Halton, Niagara and beyond. We both couldn't be happier and more excited to work together on this project. Our standards are the absolute highest and I have no doubts that we can really make waves the way we intend to.

Well that was insane.

2022 was literally the busiest and most chaotic year as a DJ in my life. I played over 80 events this year, often doing 3-4 consecutive days back to back, multiple times this summer. But I'm not complaining. I get to entertain people with music for a living and for me that beats doing almost any other job I can think of.

I want to thank every single couple, guest, company, venue, tech, musician, photographer and event coordinator I've met this year for their help and trusting me to be a part of their event.

Cheers to all of you! Here's to an even better and more successful 2023!

Just arrived in the mail!

Special edition, translucent orange, vinyl re-release of debut record . One of my favourite albums of all time.

This record changed my life. It's like new life had been breathed into rock. The combination of motown, blue eyed soul, old RnB and delta blues influences all come together to create a vibrant, genuine, soulful and sonically dynamic journey of tasty tones, soaring soundscapes and volcanic vocals.

There's no better modern representation of the roots of rock n roll. In short it's *Chef's Kiss*

There are moments when I can't believe how lucky I am to have had so many amazing women in my life. Being outnumbered by sisters and a wife that I couldn't possibly be more proud of has filled me with knowledge, perspective and experiences I wouldn't have had otherwise.

This woman in particular has been my everything and I love her dearly. Seeing her lead, organize, delegate and smash her way through every obstacle in front of her with the confidence and elegance of a monarch inspires me daily.

I was raised by amazing women, helped raise an amazing woman and am now so fulfilled and happy to be with the woman I call my wife and best friend. She's soo beautiful it makes me sick sometimes.

I also love space and was recently super inspired by Nasa's Mars Perseverance mission, so I composed this piece with the goal of illiciting the kind of emotion, anxiety and pride that comes with undertaking an endeavour this ambitious and historical.

Safely landing a rover on Mars requires a level of innovation, preparation and ambition that showcases the most beautiful aspects of the human spirit. Our capacity to unify for one singular purpose that may have seemed insurmountable if not impossible.

I took some artistic liberties by including some footage from various films to dramatacize the events. But I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed composing and editing it.

I'll be releasing a new single on October 8th.

I had an elaborate and grandiose strategy for debuting all of my new music, but this year a wrench has been thrown into those plans. I don't want to hold on to these songs anymore, I'm setting them free so everyone else can have them.

This isn't a new sound, it's just one song of many that are all entirely different. Some will be rock, some ballads, some more pop and dance. But they are all 100% me, and I hope you enjoy them.

I was on a bit of a hiatus for a while due to a lack of inspiration. But I'm fortunate to be surrounded by amazing people who have been super supportive and motivating me to get back on track.

I've been in the studio with my good friend Ross Hayes Citrullo putting the finishing touches on a lot of new music that I'm really excited to share with all of you. I'm hoping to release some of it this summer so stay tuned.

For now I leave you with a cover of a beautiful song that I wanted to learn for a while. Paper Crown is a track off Liam Gallagher's debut solo album "As You Were". The album was mastered by Brian Lucey's Magic Garden Mastering who also mastered the final Last Bullet album.

Huge thanks to my my mates Danny and Phil at The Hideout Toronto for donating this mic stand and all their support for Toronto's music community over the years. Sorry for the crispy mic, still trying to get the levels right.
