Mine workers at Moshaneng Quarry have been working at the risk of danger to exposure to asbestos despite the government’s assurances that it carries out inspections at the quarry.

Tsaone Segaetsho Fresh photographic evidence by this publication reveals that miners and villagers are not safe from the dangers associated with exposure to the asbestos mineral, which is currently banned since it causes lung diseases.

Masisi is taking Khama and is all high profile co-accused on with 51 charges which are related to illegal possession of fi****ms.

Former state intelligence boss Isaac Kgosi tops the charge sheet followed by Khama while chief police officer Keabetswe Makgophe and former top police official and corruption busting unit director Victor Paledi, are said to have aided the two men in acquiring and keeping the arms while they were not properly registered or owned.

This case will be one of the biggest to ever reach Botswana’s courts; a former president fighting against probable imprisonment.

Confidential documents obtained by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and shared with INK Centre for Investigative Journalism show that Choppies CEO Ram Ottapathu set up a shell company in the British Virgin Islands, a well-known tax haven. The documents shared with INK Centre include emails, passports, minutes and other vital company records.
